Personally I think Sultan was being cautious.
He faces danger from both the Police and his own creed.
And we have also seen that however rough he behaves with his son
He would do things to make the child happy.
Which probably also extends to do the fact that he did do anything for
Aryan.
Now why then did he tie his own kid up, that's definitely confusing.
So yeah he didn't confront RK upfront because it probably wasn't necessary for a threat through phone call.
He just gave out a warning.

Okay, I am presenting my opinion now, plzz don't think of it as an instigatory post.

Sultan went after RK because maybe he's assumed Madhu has spilled about her excursion at Sultan's place and RK has threatened Aryan (a kid) that he will break Aryan's legs to make him unable to walk and would make him mute. Sultan being a gangster does not take well to threats. He is the big bad only because he moves forward and acts on curbing a threat before it can get bigger. That is why he has soulless people like Bhujang under his command for now. So when it came to RK he broke his windshield leaving a note not to mess with him/ his people. This was his way of sending a message to 'Superstar RK' that he has power too and he knows how to nip threats in the bud.

Secondly, your point of Madhu being a very moralistic person. A real person with morals would not look at another person's demeanor or outlook and judge them based on it. He/ She will first get to know them and then form an opinion about them. For example; to the entire world/ his fans RK is the best, the most cherished/ lovable etc, but only Madhu knows what he truly is from the inside (his real face hidden behind the mask of a famous actor). Similarly, she has yet to learn how Sultan really is personality and nature wise not just based on what she sees.

So to me, Sultan is not a sissy gangster. Plus another actor or a businessman would be very predictable but having a gangster means there will always be a mysterious danger side lurking to this whole track which could be thrilling between RK and Sultan's power struggle.

apart from the title, the post is fine. We should try to differentiate between bashing and criticism and respect each others opinion.

I never get this. Firstly its not even bashing, just pointing out the ridiculous story line
Secondly, why shouldn't character bashing be allowed? Actors understood. But characters - why the hell not? I think all, all characters should be free to be torn apart and debated on.
