I mean these are a big part of Film industry. And in most 70's movies, this is very common.

Don't worry after maybe 2 years we will get to see DDLJ kind of scenes. They started from 70's to give tribute to film industry and it will take some 2 years to reach DDLJ timing and maybe RK & MB kids will be there in SOTY time.
