So far so good, this is what I have to say about today's episode and the build-up of this new track...it was indeed yet another engaging and interesting one...
Beginning from the first glimpses of RK's new found insecurity of losing Madhu to someone else...This very deep seated insecurity beginning to get transcended to his overt behavior...even the scene between RK and his heroine was obviously RK's character voicing out his own true feelings for Madhu, "But I did love you then, only I didn't realize it because it was so strong, and I still do love you, even though I know I've probably blown my chance." I found the entire scenario at the shoot with RK, Madhu, Bittuji and the entire crew engaging enough...while Vivian was exceptionally good as his performance required more of overt acting and voice modulations...Drashti, was entirely covert, and which like always she carried it out with effortless ease...
From then on it was all action, just like had deduced that RK would misinterpret Madhu's sudden departure from the shoot with the stranger which he did...The reason for Sultan to compel Madhu to go along with him being that something had happened to his son Aryan, which indeed was the case...
All said and done, must say I enjoyed watching this interaction between Sultan and Madhu...Sultan, invainly wanting to cower her down and Madhu, being a resilient girl that she is full of defiance and loathing for him...both Avinesh and Drashti, complementing each other perfectly as two antagonists forced to call the truce for Aryan's sake...I also found the boy playing Aryan really cute...
By far the few episodes of this new track have been really good, including today's episode which I must say I thoroughly enjoyed watching...
Suggestive Cues for the MB team : Introducing Sultan at this juncture of Rishbala's relationship where both are at cross-roads is sure one interesting...however, here are a few cues that I feel need to be taken into account while developing this track :
1. The basis of RK feeling insecure and jealous cannot be due to his doubting Madhu or her being unfaithful to him...no it has to be because of his fear of someone else taking her away from him...
2. It would not be because his faith in Madhu is shaken but because he himself has shattered her trust in him...he is at sea about how to redeem himself in her eyes and Sultan is not making it easier either...
3. Definitely neither want the usual "run of the mill" misunderstanding between Rishbala nor Sultan blackmailing Madhu or forcing something against her will and Madhu taking it all quietly lying down...don't want that "main chup rahoongi" type situation at all...and Madhu suffering at the hands of both these men...
4. Being a sucker for romance, would definitely love to see RK going all out to woo his biwi back and reinstate his faith in her...In doing so would love to see him competing with Sultan...how, now that's for you guys to work out..."When its gone, you'll know what a gift love was. you'll suffer like this. So go back and fight to keep it." (Ian McEwan), this is exactly I want it to be like...
5. Don't want this track to develop into a rigmarole of too many twists with too many characters popping in and out...
6. Certainly don't want to see another mockery being made of the institution of marriage, first one obviously was RK's four pheras with Madhu...Of course don't want another round of "marriage of convenience", Madhu marrying Sultan for his son's sake...
Today am bringing in the male version of the retro, sung by Talat Mehmood, that perfectly depicts RK's state at present :
[Karate Rahe Khizaan Se Ham Saudaa Bahaar Ka
Badalaa Diya To Kya Ye Diya Un Ke Pyaar Kaa]
Sab Kuchh Luta Ke Hosh Men Aaye To Kya Kiyaa \-2
Din Men Agar Charaagh Jalaaye To Kya Kiyaa
Sab Kuchh Luta Ke Hosh Men Aaye To Kya Kiyaa \-
