Hey folks,
I was feeling a bit stressed so I decided to write a one shot on Rishbala. It's tragic so read at your own risk. People who read for a happy ending this story is not for you. Wrote it in like 45 minutes and its in like a "text message" format. Sorry for any error's and mistakes in advance. Feel free to criticize and throw rotten tomatoes at me I promise I wont mind. 😆
ps. this is my first literary work on IF so be somewhat nice to me, and don't kill me for the ending.😳
OS- Forever and Always
Background Rishbala are 18 years old and they are high school seniors who are in love and dating each other.
RK- I missed you at school today, why weren't you there?
Madz- Oh yea, I'm sorry babe I had a doctor appointment.
RK- Madz what was the appointment for?
Madz- oh nothing, I just went in for some annual shots, that's all.
RK- oh ok.
Madz- So what did we do in pre-cal today?
RK- Madz you didn't miss anything good. The stupid teacher just bored us to death with 3 new theorems on the imaginary i. He just taught us how to multiply and divide imaginary numbers today.
Madz- Multiply and divide by imaginary number awesome, just great, I barely understood how to add and subtract those stupid numbers. Only god can save me in that class.
RK- Madz do you need some math help, I am willing to tutor you anytime just say the word sweety and I'm all yours.
Madz- Nahh, I'll pass, I think I will take my chances with Bri, better luck next time.
Madz- hey rk I have a question...
RK- Okay, ask away sweetheart
Madz-...how much do u love me?
RK- You know I love you more than anything anything else in this world.
Madz- yeah...
RK- why do u ask?
Madz-...>silence<...
RK- Is something wrong?
Madz- no nothing at all
RK- Good.
Madz- ...how much do you care about me?
RK- I would give you the world in a heartbeat if I could.
Madz- You would?
RK- Yes, of course I would he said, sounding worried. Is there something wrong??
Madz- No, everything's fine.
RK- Are you sure?
Madz- yeah.
RK- ok...I hope so.
Madz- would you die for me?
RK- I would take a bullet for you any day, sweetheart.
Madz- really?
RK- any day. Now seriously, is there something wrong with you madz???
Madz- No rk Im fine, your fine, we're fine, everyone's fine.
RK-ok whatever you say.
Madz-well I have to go I'll see you tomorrow at school.
RK- Alright, bye. I LOVE YOU.
Madz- yeah, i love u too, bye.
THE NEXT DAY AT SCHOOL:
RK- hey Eric, have u seen my girlfriend today at school?
Eric- No, man I was looking for her in chem today.
RK- oh.
Eric- yea Madz wasn't there yesterday either.
RK- I know, she was acting all weird on the phone last night.
Eric- well, dude you know girls are sometimes.
RK- yeah...but not Madz she is different from the rest.
Eric- I don't know what else to say, man.
RK- Kay well i gotta get to English, I'll see ya after school for football practice.
Eric- Yeah I gotta get to Art, talk to yoy later man.
THAT Afternoon:

Madz- hello?
RK- hey
Madz- oh, hi rk.
RK- madz why weren't u at school today?
Madz- uh...I had another doctor appointment.
RK- are u sick?
Madz- ...umm RK I have to go, my mom's calling on the other line.
RK- I'll wait.
Madz- RK it may take a while, I'll call you later. Okay
RK-...alright Madz, I love you sweetheart.
*very long pause*
Madz- With a tear in her eye she said "look rk, I think we should break up".
RK- WHAT??? Madz Your joking right. A few moments later Madhubla Mallik are you breaking up with me over the phone???
Madz- It's the best thing for us right now.
RK- why????
Madz- because I love u.

THEN MADZ DOESNT COME TO SCHOOL FOR 6 MONTHS, AND DOESNT ANSWER HER PHONE.
RK- hey dude
Eric- hey
RK- whats up?
Eric- nothing, hey have you talked to your ex lately?
RK- No, she has been MIA since she dumped me over the phone.
Eric- So you didn't hear?
RK- hear what?
Eric- umm I don't know if I should be the one to tell you this...
RK- dude, what the f**k tell me already.

RK CALLS NUMBER AFTER SCHOOL

voice- hello, this is John Muir Medical Center, this is nurse Suzie speaking.
RK- uhh...I think I must have the wrong number, I'm looking for my friend.
Nurse Suzie - what is her name, Sir?
RK- Her name is Madhubala Mallik, she is 18 years old and lives on 1554 Patterson street, Dublin, Nv.
Nurse Suzie- yes, this is the right number, she is one of our patients here.
RK- what happened to her??? how is she???
Nurse Suzie- her room number is ..442, in building D.
RK- WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO HER??!!!!
Nurse Suzie- please come by sir and you can see her, goodbye.
RK- WAIT! NO!
*dial tone*
RK RUSHES TO HOSPITAL, AND TO ROOM ..443, BUILDING D. THERE SHE IS LYING IN THE HOSPITAL BED.
RK- Oh my god madz are you alright??
Madz- ...
RK- sweetie!! talk to me!!
Madz- i...
RK- u what?? U WHAT???
Madz- I have cancer and I am on life support
RK- ...>breaks into tears<...
Madz- Rk they're pulling the plug tonight.
RK- WHY??
Madz- I wanted to tell you rishabh but I just couldn't
RK- why didnt you tell me????
Madz- I didn't want to hurt you.
RK- Madhubala Shamsher Malik you could never hurt me
Madz- I just wanted to see if you felt the same as I felt about you.
RK- ?
Madz- I love u more than anything, I would give you the world in a heartbeat. I would die for you and take a bullet for you.
RK- ...
Madz- Don't be sad, i love you and I will always be here with you.
RK- then why did you break up with me?
nurse- young man, visiting hours are over.
RK LEAVES, MADHUBALA SHAMSHER MALLIK IS TAKEN OFF LIFE SUPPORT, AND DIES.
But what the RK didn't know was that Madz only asked him those questions so she could hear him say his answer one last time. And she only broke up with him because she knew she only had 6 more months to live. She thought it would cause him less pain, and give him enough time to get over her before she died.
NEXT DAY
RK is found with a gun in his hand and with a note in the other.
THE NOTE SAID: I told her I would take a bullet for her, just like she said that she would die for me.
