I was just going through the last few episodes once again and it occurred to me that the events that are happening now are connected in reverse order in which the unwedding drama happened
1. The last scene on the unwedding day was in RK mansion where RK asked the security guards to throw Madhu out of his house. Now on the drunken night, he himself brought her back in his arms to his house and made her sleep on his bed :) I felt that he really wanted Madhu to stay back, but she left before he woke up.
2. Before this RK made the big announcement in chawl, where he gave the long speech on how a chawlwali cannot be his wife. And now he waited for her in the chawl a whole night and it was so obvious to everyone that he was so worried about her and i think he would have taken her with him if she had agreed!
So what is left now is what happened at the wedding venue. Moreover, it should be noted that this time it is Madhu who is rejecting him.
I know RK still has a long way to go to redeem him. But his ego seems already shattered, at least in front of Madhu. After he promised to her that he will listen to his heart, i couldn't see any incident where he was manipulating/insulting her. He was only watching her..
