It was so satiating for me...Satiating to see one of my wishes being fulfilled...The Rishbala interaction turning out to be just the way I had envisagd...That to see RK being at the receiving end and Madhu whiplashing that they were nothing more to each other now and she did not owe him any explanation...She not responding to his display of concern and cold shouldering him at the very same place where he had shunned and severed all his relations with her...More than that of an insecure RK questioning Madhu about other man...nothing could have been more befitting and worth relishing...
Now that am done with my relished ramblings, let me get down to today's episode...
"It was going to be a long, dark night but not quite as dark as it was in the abyss of his heart where there was nothing but hollowness, yet it felt heavy, almost as if someone still resided there."...This line by Faraaz Kazi aptly convey all that RK is going through on Madhu's disappearance...His desperation and learned helplessness evident in his behavior and to top it all giving us all a glimpse of how Madhu has implanted herself in his heart...yup, she has become the core of his existence, which his ego will not let him accept or admit...
This was the interesting aspect of this episode...the gradual unfolding of this stranger who seems to have entered Madhu's life...giving us a bit by bit glimpse of Sultan, the man and the father...his relationship with his son...The entire events revealing more of Sultan and then him dropping Madhu back at her chawl...his need to remain anonymous and blind-folding Madhu, so that she is not aware of his whereabouts...all making sense now...
Then of course came the part that was most soothing for me and with which I began this decipher...
Overall, it was an episode that to me was both interesting and satisfactory...It would certainly be interesting to see this man Sultan putting RK on the back foot...To unsettle RK's cocksure belief and assurance and that Madhu belongs to him and is irrevocably in love with him, no matter what...
Performance wise, liked Arati Puri's portrayal of a responsible and supportive elder sister Trishna...Vivian as RK carried his part convincingly...but I admit it's Avinesh Rekhi, as Sultan who has me impressed...and of course, how can I leave without saying anything about my favorite Drashti...Thanks to Raghuvir's lines, she once again came up all aces...
Bringing in a retro to bring out as to where Rishbala's relationship as, stated by Madhu, at the moment :
