RK remembered the 1st time madhu was hurt due to the light falling.. it symbolises that he knows that she is badly hurt cos of him and for him.. she is always in the way of anything that will hurt him and cause pain.thats y he looks for to tell her that he is hurting inside and he needs to talk to her
