I am pretty sure everyone has heard of the Godfather movies . It is about a common man becoming the biggest goon in the world , and yet you die when he does , cause despite killing he somehow has suffered so much that you love him nonetheless . A parallel with the character of Joker has been contemplated with RK before . I felt however , Al Paccino's character in Godfather to be something more similar . So i'll try to contemplate both of them together . 😛😆
The Godfather was a simple marine cop called Michael Corleone who just came back from The Second World War. He was the only educated college graduated guy , coming from Dartmouth University , to his family and had nothing to do with his family's crime business. However , the collapse of his father gets him into the world he had been ignoring so far. This kinda rings a bell right? RK's father's death is one reason why his career and his aim went to the world he never wanted to be a part of . That's the first parallel .
Then his first murder happens through killing a really corrupt police officer who used to exploit every single one in the neighborhood. RK's first booming success as a hit actor happened through Deepali exploiting him and Sikky and fooling all his people\family around him . Second parallel.
Then Michael falls in love as he flees away to Sicily . However his best friend had been murdered in the mean time and his wife dies in front of him , though the bomb was meant for Michael, planted by his own bodyguard. Michael wanted redemption from his first stage but the death of the one he loved , wrote another chapter in him becoming the Godfather . Similarly , if Deepali loved him truly , then RK would've redeemed from the first chapter of his life and what it had done to him , but what happened? Deepaali went through betrayal instead of death that wrote the second chapter in Rishabh becoming RK , that similarly happened to Michael.
And after this Deepali's betrayal and Michael's love's death , both get thoroughly involved into the respected businesses laid in front of them : the world of films and the world of crime. Michael reestablishes the Corleone family as the most powerful crime family in the nation after his daughter is killed later in the end of the movie, and he makes a reputation for himself as being even more cunning and ruthless than his father. Rishabh re establishes the film lineage of his family , becoming much more famous than his step dad and step son were to be hyped about in the past.
