I have read other posts asking why the slap happened and that the slap makes Madhu look weak.

So i respectfully submit my post that the slap was necessary. It could have been for every insult, every humiliation, hurt, tears and for the 'verbal' slaps that RK has been inflicting on Madhu (and the viewers) since the non-wedding.

I am not going to write about why she was right, he was wrong, she is good and he is evil. No justification in this post.

I will simply say that - for me - the slap was well deserved and I am happy he got one. It made ME feel better. I don't care that RK was trying to help Madhu. I don't care that he (Last second) decided to put the shawl back on Madhu and yelled Pack up.

Unlike RK, once again, Madhu fought back to his face. She did not plunge a knife in his back.

Two last points:

one. so far Madhu has not been able to hurt RK (well she does not realize she has), so a physical hurt to compensate for the emotional hurt. I am good with that.

two. if slaps are how we got to this point, keep them coming madhu!

Two more to go, then! I think that slap was her instinctive response on seeing the torn sleeve, but it wasn't for that one act ... like you said, it was the cumulative effect of all the wrongs she has faced so far. I won't get into whether it was right or wrong.

loved how u put it in such easy words...she did it to his FACE...didnt backstab...the slap was well deserved...he had it coming for many days

Totally agree with u

atleast she is not behaving jerk like RK who again n again back stabbing her with d help of unit members.She is fighting 4 herself from d front

I think that slap was for that wht he was trying to do previously in front of all people on set and tearing of d dress added fuel to d fire.

I think slap was long over due . RK was inviting it himself . I think its enough now RK has humiliated more then enough . This humiliation needs to stop from RK's side .

very well said 👏 ..Yes their is nooo if but's in the Madhu's Slap...she has gone through so much of humiliation ...leave the past Humiliation ..the Morning she faced the Humiliation and she is so terrified and helpless she can't even with hold herself in the dressing room ..how long a girl can stand ,,even than she made herself strong and faced every situation ..so that slap was give to RK because what she felt for him utter disgust and hatred ..

two really good points.

In the dressing room, i feel Madhu came close to a real breakdown. For the first time she could not finish her 'mantra' which has always given her strength at her worst moments. So for me, that scene was heart breaking. And even RK realized this.

second, during the slap scene, I finally saw hate in Madhu's eyes. There was no love there for RK. There was no sadness for the love she lost. There was hate and disgust.

Congrats RK, you got what u wanted.

And the audience got what WE (ok, 50%?? of us) wanted: a slap.

i agree. some people claim that Madhu slapping RK shows that she is weak if that is so then isnt Rk weak for humiliating her when you couldnt stand her indifference and when her proximity affects him.

If that's the case then RK slapping Bittuji just 'coz Bittuji was taking Madhu's side seems like a big weakness ... that too in a man as powerful as RK!

I don't get it, why doesn't RK leave Madhu alone? He can do his job ( which is acting) and let Madhu do hers as the heroine's hairstylist!
