@bold - so funny yaar ki the book is full-on romance when FQ's take on MB was so acerbic and pointedly hilarious. Really, I was missing her and having trouble controlling my own self during the dhoti-wearing, cycle-jumping, hockey-stick mar-ing, phasi-ing, naach-girling Kumbh Mela that was Padmini's to be wedding. But see how disciplined I was? Dekh bhi main kitni acchi hoon, hai na? Aap bhala toh jag bhala - such is the power of your influence guru-ji😛!

Anyways...FQ was more interested to watch VD when watching MB. She used to take us into gutter-talking with when nothing on the screen was satisfactory to her ...and if that was not enough, she used to go and write One Shots. Did you read her two Fictions ? They were interesting with same amount of Humour intact in the scenes, but all suggestive. It was artistically created gutter-fiction but very romantic. 😆..I thought she was teasing me with her "full on" epic romance. 😆

Sach bataoon yaar - I had completely forgotten the gutter aspect of it all! I do not really like that angle of things - perhaps I had blocked it!😆 Vaise, you know I remembered after reading your post ki FQ had written a sort of story about the superstar in the shower (?or some such?) and I could only read about one fourth of the way along before my mind fled the scene.

Kya bat hai! Maybe I am more evolved than I thought. Only two-and-a-half million more births and perhaps God will look on my case without bursting into helpless laughter! Progress!😛

I know I said I am going to stay away from speculations and predictions.

But I cannot help thinking about the serial as it has unfolded for me, in the past 5 months. I started watching much after their marriage.

If it is like the Truman show, if we 're watching a movie within a serial, everything suddenly makes sense.

If I work backwards:

Meri Maa alag hai: What does it mean? We took it to mean their respective mothers are different or he has a different relationship with his mother. What if it actually means...he has a different mother???!! It could, right? Radha is not his mother.
yesterday when Radha saw his blank letter, she was so calm. For someone who has a tap behind her eyes, ready to cry and panic at the drop of a hat, combined with madhu's emotional dialogue, she looked pretty detached.
Radha has actually been egging Madhu, to confront RK each time...Ganpati time, karwa chauth time.
Was'nt the temple reunion scene between RK-Radha extremely filmi?? We have been commenting on all the filmi elements throughout.

Every emotional scene between RK-Madhu has been in the studio/or in a filmi sytyle set:

First studio scene...after the party
RK's karwa chauth for Madhu
Confession of love...outside in that weird place with lights all around...we even commented on how in a filmi manner, there were fireworks as he said, his I love you.
The house map that he showed her ...was also in a studio. (this is the most depressing)
The village could also have been a filmi set
Kaynaat's poster has been missing a heroine...and the heroines have been changing. Again, we noted it, how can a film have 2-3 heroines? What if Madhu has been the heroine throughout??

I could go on and on, but I'm sure all of us would remember certain scenes which were movie like. because we kept laughing at it, and at RK, thinking how filmi he is.

It could be that he directed the movie, and set in motion situations that Madhu would react to. Like a reality show.

Why I am wondering about this Truman scenario is, because if it is a revenge track to make her fall in love and then leave her, how is she ever going to act after such devastation? he could have probably done it with his love, but, but, but, not only does madhu hate acting, she is also not goood at it (MADHU, NOT DD, so please understand, before i get hate mail). She never remembers dialogues, cannot lie (acting requires a certain amount of lying). But on her own, she is quite dramatic and filmi, she loves to dance, maros dialogues etc.

I completely indulged my imagination in my last post. 😆

What goes against the whole theory is:

Biggest blooper to disprove this theory: RK could have controlled every thing from his side, his family, his house, his reactions, and of course madhu. but how could he have controlled madhu's family? They have been part of the drama in a huge way
Malik attempting to shoot RK, Balraj's entry, Balraj's death at paddy's hands, courtroom drama
RK's personal reactions he missed her when he was alone, did the lines blur between fiction and reality for him at some point?
Other situations: eg: after DIps tries to seduce him, how would he have known Madhu would come there???

It is heartbeaking for Madhu in any scenario, revenge or reality show. if she becomes a star after this, she will never get her previous life back. Even after RK dumps her, she can never go back to being a parlour girl again, because she will be a super star. Isn't that enough revenge??

I know this theory is too fantastical and not possible at all in the Indian television scenario. But it is fun to think about it. And try to be one up on ST😆.

If it turns out to be true, and we get our answers, i will salute ST and his creative team from the bottom of my heart. But I will demand a love story in return, where Madhu becomes RK'S real ishq and junoon. I will demand that he suffers in love and tries to win her back.

@bold - haan, I too wondered about this..do you remember the night they were chatting on the phone and Madhu asks him to go to open the parde and see the moon? (The "dinosaur sandwich night"😆) Even after they hang up he still goes to look at the moon, still talks to himself that this girl is crazy and is making him become crazy, as well. Why would he keep up an act in this way when there is no one there to see? (Unless he is pure Stanislauski method actor - never coming out of character!😆) But, barring that unlikely scenario, why would he do this sort of thing?

Not only am I a devil's advocate but I am also going a bit crazy, maybe the tension has finally got to me😆

There could be cameras all around, hidden cameras.

On the other hand, why would he continue his revenge? Revenge also seems illogical, unless he is completely stark raving mad, demented, sociopath?

OK, last scenario, he is sick and does'nt want to pull Madhu down with him. That's the other scenario that makes sense.

That's actually the only scenario which was spoiler-advance-posted in mid-January - a mention in a news-vid, and a post (not article) each on two sites.😊

I missed out on all of it then, but have been poring over every even slightly hopeful clue in these past few days.😕😛😆

The news-vid comment stated that Madhu - presumably getting a clear idea at some point after the initial shock of being 'betrayed' and dumped, or maybe still ignorant of suspicion - goes to RK, but Bittuji tells her that RK has left for London. Madhu goes silent, and then faints.

So Bittuji knows what his 'Chief' is upto, and if - despite having been willing to rant at RK for not appreciating Madhu - he's now covering for RK, it would seem to imply that he agrees with RK's course of action.😕

So the tried-and-tested formula for illness-and-pushing-loved-one-away gains weight.

Not even remotely happy about the probablity, but on the other hand a revenge track would imply we have all been witless in all these months of watching the serial.

Everything we've seen until now a pretence, or a cliched track for the future? Would rather the latter.

But maybe this time, like every other time, the MEIEJ CVs will give us some happy and entirely unexpected twist.😊

Very well written...This is the only theory/prediction that actually fits the last 5 months assuming that RK is indeed out to take revenge on Madhu for some reason.

Now about the issues that would not gel with the theory

I am assuming that RK being a superstar would not have gone for a tv series but a movie which is three hours so he essentially had to condense 6 months into 3 hours. Also it was a love story so he would have focussed essentially on thier relationship rather than the entire drama. There would be a lot of editing going on and most of the incidents would be on camera- Shamoo trying to kill him, Devi pooja, sangeet, the wedding etc. My point is that he did not have to control anybody...he would just record and edit the parts he wanted in the story. I don't think he would want his relationship with his mother and Dips out in movie unless they were actors and a part of script too. As for his monologues, they could be true or could be a part of his script. He hit the jackpot with as much filmi drama as maliks had in thier family.

My only concern with the theory is that RK must have really hit a slump careerwise to make a home movie like this.(Witch hunt project anyone?)

In my mind this is same as making p**n off unsuspecting victim and is unforgivable even more so than any revenge plot.

The idea sickens me -so did the truman show and naqaab btw. I don't know if I will be impressed by ST's creativity and guts or will be destroyed by the idea .

I don't think that RK would see it as revenge. He would look at it as extension of his creativity and good business sense while satisfying his God complex. From his perspective it is win-win...he did bestow stardom on Madhu something everyone yearns for. Does it truly matter whether she wanted it or not?
