CHAPTER 8
RK drove the car as fast as he could .. He just missed her too much to be away from her even for a second ..
As he reached her house ... He saw the all the lights were off ! He glanced at his watch 1'12am ... 'Madhu must be fast asleep . . ' He thought
He kept staring at her house for 5 mins . Trying to figure out which was her room exctly .
She stayed in quite a big house . Obv not as big as RK's but decent big . RK knew she stays with her parents and bua and sister ...
After gathering a lot of courage . He finally went around all the window trying to figure out wich was Madhu 's.
Finally he reached her window. He saw her sleeping peacefully . Covered in a quilt . 'She must be really unwell ' he thought.
He climbed through the window and entered her room . she moved a little causing him to hide behind the curtain . He slowly tilted his head and saw her calmly sleeping . Her face was lit up by the moonlight coming through her window.
'Beautiful ' he thought .
A lock of her hair was falling on her face ... Her pink lips pressed together into a lil pout . It was impossible for RK not to get close to her . And before he knew it .. He was next to her bed ... He sat on his knees , and carefully removed her lock of hair from her face , he slightly brushed her warm lips with his fingers... Madhu shifted a bit . . Feeling mre comfortable .
'There is something about u Madhubala ' he thought
As RK was close to her face , he realized it looked paler than yesterday .
'Hasn't she been eating well ?' He wondered
He snapped out of his thoughts as Madhu turned to the other side . Her back was now facing RK... her quilt was slightly pushed downwards due to her turning around , exposing her back through her black night wear .
RK 's eyes immediately fell on her scar , wich was now a little better yet was there like a huge mark. His heart ached to see it on her delicate back.
He softly brushed his fingers onto her scar . As his fingers came in contact wid her scar , he immediately remembered kissing her scar .
Without realising his hands started brushing Madhu's back and went upto her neck ...
It was getting impossible for RK to control , her skin so soft , so tender . It was driving him crazy . And before he lost control he stood up and went near the window , just before going he glanced back at Madhu. Who was still fast asleep . RK's face had pain and frustration visible . He wanted to hold her once , he wanted to protect her from the evil world , but he soon realized he needs to protect her from himself . He in an instant walked out of the window .. Leaving an unaware Madhu sleeping..
RK reached back his mansion and lighted up a smoke . Trying to push away Madhu's thoughts . But all his efforts went in vain.
'Madhubala' his lips whispered as he. Drifted to sleep..

' We'l be best friends forever !! Right rishabh ??'
' yes and promise me ul never forget me. Even if I go far . Ul write to me everyday na ?'
'I promise Rishabh. Pinky promise ' and they both giggled and laughed like crazy
' Ur not my friend anymore rishabh. Mom was right . Ur bad . Very bad . . Mom take me away from him . I hate u ' the figure shouted
'I promise Rishabh itl be good. And then I'll give u chocolates . U like them na ?' A figure took him away
'No please no..LEAVE ME ' RK shouted
He woke up yet again sweating and shivering ... Dreading his past ...his horrifying dark past !
Suddenly the door bell rang . RK glanced at his watch . 9am ???
'Crap I'm late for office '
He quickly went to get ready.
As he reached office . He got surprised seeing Madhu in his cabin.
'Miss Mallik? ' He let out sigh
' Morning Sir' she said meekly .
' How are u feeling now? Bittuji said ur on a 2 day leave' RK said walking to his desk. Passing by Madhu's fragrance.
'Sweet but bitter ' he thought
'I'm fine sir' she replied coldly.
'Anything else?' She asked
RK nodded
'Haven't u been eating well? ' RK asked
Madhu got shocked as she managed to say ' I eat fine sir '
RK kept silent and gestured her towards the door
'Good day sir' she left to her cabin .
' Ths is good . She herself is maintaining distance from me .' RK was happy . But somewhr deep inside he was sad. He wanted her .. He badly wanted her.
He called bittuji in
'Yes chief ? '
' Bittuji I'm giving u a very important and confidential work ! ' RK said
'What is that chief ? '
' U have to make sure Madhu...I mean Miss Mallik never skips her lunch in office , and make sure with tea or coffee she takes some snacks'
Bittuji looked confused 'are u sure chief ?'
'How dare u ask me that ? Do whatever I've said . And if someone gets to know anything . Ur fired ' RK threatened bittuji
'Sorry chief . And don't worry I'll make sure what u sed is done ! '
'Good leave now ! '
Madhu was sitting in her cabin .
Trying to concentrate on her work . But everytime she looked down , she only found herself staring at her boss through the glass.
' He really doesn't care for me ? ' She asked herself .
'But if he doesn't care about me then why does he keep asking how m I ? why can't I stop thinking about him ?
He's creeped into my mind so bad that last night I almost thought as if I felt him ' she kept staring at him while talking to herself.
'What is wrong wid me ?? I've never let a man even touch me . And I let him kiss my back . And a part of me doesn't even regret it ! Madhu are u falling for ur boss ??'
Suddenly her eyes met RK's and she quickly looked away feeling embarrased.
'No ways I can't fall for him. Its impossible . He's my boss . Just my boss ... Control Madhu . Keep maintaining distance ' as she glanced back at RK . She saw dipali entering his cabin . Madhu's expressions changed into an angry one.
She saw dipali leaning against RK's table . Her clothes were shorter than before..
'I know what ur trying to do bitch' she spoke to herself
'Wait ! Why m I feeling jealous? ' She wondered
Without thinking she barged into RK's cabin surprising herself as well as RK n dipali.
'What the hell Madhubala . Couldn't u knock ?' Dipali mocked at Madhu.
'U have no right to talk to MY secretary like that ' RK shouted
madhu's heart skipped a beat as she heard RK say ' MY secretary'
'But RK ! ...'
'SIR !! It is ! ' RK said aloud.
'I mean Sir isn't she supposed to knock before coming ?' She asked irritatingly
'NO ! She has the right to walk into my cabin anytime she pleases ! Do u get that ?'
Dipali nodded .
' Now if u please excuse me n my secretary ' RK said staring at a stunned Madhu.
Dipali left the cabin giving a stern look to madhu.
'So Miss Mallik what happened ?' RK asked
'Sir...r..r... Actual..l..yyy' Madhu stammered as she didn't have anything to say
RK stood from his chair and came close to Madhu . Almost making her breathless.
'What brings u here Miss Mallik ? That too so suddenly ??' He asked with an expression Madhu couldn't understnd.
her face flushed red due to the close proximity btw them.
' Sir ! Ummm Sir actually ...I wanted to...'
RK pulled Madhu by her waist
'Yes Miss Mallik u wanted to ?' He said huskily , blowing air onto her hair
Madhu shivered as her eyes met RK's .. Standing so close that they bodies brushed . They were lost in each other ..
RK leaned in more towards her , as Madhu bit her lip in embarrasment ...
'Next time come with a proper excuse ' he smirked for the first time. Making Madhu red as a tomato .
She quickly went out of the cabin and let out a long breath !!!
'I knew why u came here Miss Mallik ' RK spoke to himself ...

Days passed by ... Madhu tried maintaining distance ... But everytime she saw dipali in Rk's cabin , a spun of jealousy ran through her and she used to find excuses to disturb them .
It had become RK's routine to climb upto her room , and watch her sleep everynight it helped him escape his nightmares... He kept becoming more n more crazy about her . Day n night all he thought about was Madhu . He made sure she ate well atleast in office .
Both of them knew something was going on but they chose to ignore it...
And then came the day when Kundra chain of hotels was ranked no.1 five star hotel in the whole of India.
There was a grand celebration at RK's Mansion ...
The celebration that will change evrything ...
