Chapter 52

Madhu grinned at the shock that registered on Rishab's face. "Let's go, Rishab' move those hips. Abby play something that will set the mood."


"Be my pleasure," Rishab said with a fake grin. Rishab hated to be put on the spot unless it was by his own choice. He would force himself to do it though because he wouldn't back down from a challenge.


Rishab covered his face with his hands and groaned. Oh God!!


"Well if I have to dance I think I will choose the music." Rishab declared and snatched the I-Pod from Abby and sorted through it for a song suitable for the dare.


Before he started, Rishab looked at Adam in the eye and gave him a warning. "You dare have a boner while I do this. And if I feel anything remotely poking at me, I swear..."


"Cross my heart and hope to die, promise no boner!!" Adam promised by making the cross sign over his heart.


Rishab looked at him as if wondering if he could believe him. Then deciding that he couldn't back out now without looking like a sissy, he just decided to pull up his socks and go for it. The sooner it was over, the better.


"Alright, time's running," Abby said and glanced at her watch. She felt a tiny bit bad for him and hoped it to be over soon. Seeing her brother with Rishab was going to give her nightmares.


"Go on with the game, Rishab," Akash told him.


"You know, I don't see you volunteering for this," Rishab said. "And I am in this place in the first place because of you."


"Not my challenge," Akash replied. "S'okay, Akash," Rishab said calmly. "You'll get yours."


As Rishab took center stage and hit the play button, Feelin' Love by Paula Cole played in the evening air. Rishab swayed his hips rhythmically to beat of the music. All the while maneuvering his way to where Adam sat.


If this is what they want. Heck he is going to be a show stealer. He decided to strike it up a notch and stepped onto the nearest rock. He didn't look at anyone lest he loses his courage and absorbed himself in his dancing.


He walked slowly to Adam, who swallowed slowly as he didn't expect him to be this good.


Rishab moved closer to Adam with his back turned towards him and moved his hips left to right in a sensual rhythm. Rishab's dance moves had left Madhu flabbergasted.


As she saw Rishab move closer towards Adam, she leaped forward and pushed Adam out of the way and took his seat, leaving Adam sitting in a pile of snow.


She waited till Rishab came closer and then whacked his ass shouting, "Shake that ass, baby!!"


Rishab jumped up and turned all around looking all confused at the turn of events. There was loud clapping all around him. Abby and Adam were giving him a wolf whistles, while Madhu kept searching her pockets for stray paper money that she could stuff into Rishab's waistline.


Madhu whispered into Rishab's ear as he took a seat and grabbed Madhu around the waist and pulled her into his lap. "Your awesome!! If some day all odds are against you, this could be your next career choice." In answer to her teasing , he just pinched her on the side of her stomach, but made sure it wasn't too hard a pinch. "Owww.." Madhu said rubbing her side.


"I think I'm ready to call it a night," Rishab said before they continued with the game. The dares were getting bolder and bolder and as much he was loving the fact that he got a chance to have Madhu sit on his lap, he was more terrified of what they might ask him to do next. "I'm a little tired and I'd like to get out of this with my clothes on or before someone dares me to kiss Akash next."


"Yeah," Abby stretched, "I feel kinda tired as well." "I'm done in for the night," Adam admitted.


Rishab knew now that everyone was gone from around the fire Madhu had practically no reason to stay with him any longer. He wasn't willing to let her go though and he tightened his grip around her while he nuzzled his nose against her neck to inhale her familiar scent.


Madhu couldn't help herself as she leaned back into his embrace, tilting her head just a bit to give him better access. She knew she shouldn't let this go on any longer, but she was only human and she had missed him so badly.


Rishab looked around the camp and everyone seemed to be in their tents or somewhere else. He reached up to brush Madhu's hair back so he would have better access to her neck. The cold air was really a problem because he had to fight for each inch of her skin. He lowered his head again, nudging her ear with his nose and placing small whispered kisses to her neck.


She brought her left hand up to cup his neck, her fingers tangling in the longish hair that hung just over his collar. Despite her desire to continue this, to take it even further, she knew she couldn't and her fingers clenched in his hair, giving it a gentle tug.


He lifted his head slowly and stared into her eyes when she turned her head slightly to look at him. "I know," he whispered.


"This isn't easy for me, Rishab," she whispered as her thumb traced over his bottom lip. "There's a part of me that wants more than anything to stay here with you, but..." she shook her head.


He nodded slightly as he let his gaze drop to the ground and released her from his grip around her waist.


Madhu hurried to make her escape when he let her go, diving into her tent like a jackrabbit with a pack of hunting dogs on its heels.


Abby looked up in surprise and quickly crawled to the end of the tent so Madhu wouldn't crash into her. "What the hell... Madhu?"


"It's um... really... cold! It's cold out there!" She rolled her eyes. More like hot enough to melt the snow off the mountain, damn it!


"Uh-huh, then zip the freaking tent up."


"Wait for me to get out first. Will be back soon." Adam said as he moved to the entrance of the tent.


Madhu quickly zipped the tent up as Adam left, pretending not to see the pair of dark, mocking eyes that were watching her from across camp.


"God, it's really cold," Abby shivered and climbed into her sleeping bag.


"It's not too late for you to go cuddle up with Akash," Madhu teased. Madhu snuggled up in her sleeping bag. Damn, she had been warmer sitting outside with Rishab's arms around her.


"Somebody was looking very jealous when Adam kissed you." "Really?" Madhu grinned.


"He looked like he just about swallowed his tongue. I was just waiting for the explosion." "Well, that sounds good," Madhu giggled.


"Anyway he issued the challenge... and hello! Adam couldn't pick you for obvious reasons... and I am pretty sure he would have felt weird if he picked Akash and in the end you two hooked up. And since Rishab is leading the climb and he doesn't want to be thrown off the mountain, that man is not about to kiss Rishab, that just left me."


Abby grinned. "So long as you didn't like it!! There is just one wall separating our rooms and from what I have heard, he seems to be quite a God."


Madhu rolled her eyes. "TMI, girl. TMI." Abby just laughed.


Madhu smiled as she lay back in her sleeping bag and stared up at the ceiling of the tent. She was doing her best not to think about what it had felt like to be in Rishab's arms again and she turned her head to the side when Abby shifted around, drawing her attention.
