Padmini tired to take off the magalsutra and it was stuck and causing Padmini pain.

Madhu helped her and took it off.

is it possible this means that in the end it will be Madhu, and not Padmini, that ends the tale of Balraj?

Yes, I also realized the symbolism portrayed in this scene. I think Madhubala will be a big factor helping to remove Balraj from their lives. I also think this scene will refer to the conflict Padmini will have trying to get away from Balraj and how he won't let go.

I think in the end it will be a face off between father & daughter. Padmini, Malik and RK will be a strong force but it will be Madhu's fight.

I agree! Balraj seems like he will target Madhubala the most. 😊
