they don't have to show him as being so poor for now. If that is so, then what is left after MB becomes a heroine. Or does that mean no heroine track is there now and MB's success is only being Superstar's wife?????

Tthey could show he has lost his status and power in his village and him on the verge of losing all his money. But not completely and he should still ahs money.

So to avoid that he came to invest his remaining assets/ money on films.
