become Mallick? Shouldn't her last name be Chowdhury? She was around 4-6 years old when she fled with Padmini. I know Madhubala's last name is Mallick or now was...

Maybe to get admission for school they may ahve chnaged because Mallick was there at the time.

That's possibly the reason they changed it. Also for the sisters not to face any public ridicule at school, they probably attended the same school too.
