Is it always the child to apologise to the parent, and show respect to the parent to never be wrong, as god made them your guidance, they looked after you when you were a child and needed so much from them, so out of that we owe them respect and not to expect an apology from them if we feel they have erred when we are grown up, in an argument situation with our parents does the child have to apologise in every situation.
Consider Radhaji could have married Kukuji because of economic reasons, Mohan Kundra could have killed himself because of financial burdens, so Kukuji could have stepped up and looked after her for many years before RK became a film star and was able to shoulder the responsibilities. If that's the case then her choice in husband may have been right, but the CV's have not told us this, they will probably show it later when they are showing suicide track.
Now today Madhu has requested RK to apologise to Radhaji for the way he treated her for marrying Kukuji and bringing those relations into their lives. Madhu doesn't know all the facts, what happened financially above, did they want RK to work from a young age, she doesn't know all the facts, she has requested this because RK wants her to ask for Padmini to remarry but he has not forgiven his mother for remarrying. But it's a bit different in Madhu's case as the man her mother will remarry is someone she loves and respects and who she already treats as her father, whilst on RK's side he doesn't love or respect Kukuji, that's the main difference. Kukuji is a greedy man, drunkard, at least Malik is neither and it should not be a problem for Madhu just to speak to them, and the decision is up to them off course.
Also the saying sorry to Radhaji, I'm actually on RK's side on this one, RK by seeking his mother's blessing and feeding her the cake and hopefully talking to her civilly that's more then enough in my opinion, no sorry is required because she brought these new relations to live off her son's wealth, even if she is submitting to the husband's wishes to stay in RK's house, culturally that is required of her, and it's also her nature to be very submissive, still she never considered the position she is putting her son in, as he doesn't like Kukuji and the rest of them, but he has to see their faces everyday, just because of the relationship he has with her. Radhaji does see that her son refuses her food and any help that she offers him, not because he doesn't love her but only because of those other relations she brought into their lives, she knows this very well she told Madhu because of my decision to remarry that he never accepted this is the reason, I think she shouldn't get an apology/Sorry from RK because her choice in husband was not appropriate, had the man she married not been a drunkard and he was toiling in work to provide for their family, very well he has self respect and she also should be treated with respect, but the choice was not appropriate, in fact she should apologise to RK and get rid of those relations, but because of her submissive nature she won't do that, possibly later something will be uncovered about their greed that will make Radhaji kick them all out, but before then they have to carry on seeing those Bhatia's faces, sponging off of RK. When this happens when the true nature of her husband and his family is uncovered then Radhaji should be the one to apologise to her son.
