I am a new MEIEJ viewer and i tell you i am loving this drama!! 👏
I have not been active on IF for a few years...(if any of you here were Kasturi fans you might remember me) i recently was a fan of IPKKND till that went downhill and ended! 🥱
I had no idea what Madhubala was about until a few weeks ago just out of curiosity i came on this page after seeing the drama ranked at second place, i went to youtube and the first ever scene i saw was the one where RK brings Madhu into his room after Dips decorates it and they end up sharing the same bed. Its one of their best scenes and by chance i happen to see it. Its funny, has RKs amazing dialogues, looks and attitude as well as Madhus hesitancy, stern looks and just overall great acting by both DD and VD. After that i became hooked! In just a few days i caught up on the storyline and almost watched all their scenes! (I was up until early hours of the night because i just could not resist finding out what happens next! 😆) Some of the videos are blocked in UK () so i went through the written updates to get a clear idea of the earlier episodes. I caught up until the KC in the studio episode and have not missed one since!
BUT after reading many of the recent posts on the forum about the confession scene, DD and VDs acting etc i have to say i too felt something missing... the spark and magic of the old scenes have fizzled out slightly because i watched almost all their scenes in a row it was more obvious that something is not right. The scenes have gone from super hot to luke warm. 😕
However there is something about Rishbala or even DVD because i have seen some of their scenes numerous times yet im still not bored! So theres still hope! No doubt they are fantastic actors and are doing a fab job with their characters 👏. First time im seeing VD in any drama and have to say he suits the role of RK perfectly! The ruthless, superstar RK is such a treat to watch! The dialogues, expressions, body language are superb! 👏
DD is a great actress loved her as Muskaan and Geet! She really suits the bubbly happy roles it reflects her personality on screen! I would love to see her fun side more in MB instead of the daily crying 😆
I have to add after all that build up of Rishbala relationship the confession was a little disappointing, i think everyone on the forum has voiced their opinions that the Ishq and in particular the Junoon was missing especially from RKs side but i am hoping CVs have something interesting planned up soon. I just wish they showed RK reflecting on his thoughts and how he realised he is in love with Madhu that would have been interesting to see, it all felt really rushed, never mind!
And as for the thanda thanda hug scene... i think it was poor direction and slightly poor acting by VD. The scene from what i understand was showing RK ABOUT to peck Madhus neck (this was not portrayed as clearly by VD) MD senses this and shyly grips RK even more round the neck (DD was spot on) then RK realises he wants the full 7 phere wedding etc to take the marriage forward so before Rishbala lose control 😉 RK decides to slowly pull away. But kya karre that scene left us viewers confused, disappointed and speculating all sorts!
I was quite impressed with the perfume and rose scene though so maybe the CVs have been reading the posts on IF! It was much better portrayed, DD and VD seemed comfortable doing that scene. Im hoping their next (and numerous) hug scenes are much better and hotter! 😛 😆
Ok im sure most of you are bored of my post now and wondering what is the purpose of it 😆 im sorry did not realise it has become so long! 😆
