Like I said in my post already. We all agree that the makers know what they are doing, thats why we are watching the show in the first place. We would like to enjoy the show without them raising our expectation level in some scenes, where they dont intend to deliver.

Lets just put it this way!The show is good, Rishbala and DVD chemistry and acting all rocks, CVS and writers are good too!

But When it comes to portraying intimate scenes, the whole team I am afraid is to blame, fails dismally!I get it that VD has a problem with Kissing, DD has a problem with bedroom intimate scenes. Already enough constraints, but fair enough! Now what I don't get is why the Director cannot get them to do a proper hug scene, a kiss on the cheek, forehead or just hands! Or do we take it that the Producers have a problem with all that!

Now if we accept the funda of 7 phere and all, we get it there will be no intimate scenes. That being the case, why toy with us viewers with a promise of something happening as seen in several scenes. Whats the need to make the actors pretend to give a near kiss?

Please explain why, during the Studio KC scene, there had to be chocolate on the leads faces, if they were to wipe it off themselves!Just the first instance in a long line of bloopers, like the curtain kiss or was it a kiss at all. I am still wondering what the hell was that?I am sure if the actors dont want to kiss there are ways around it, to make it look like a kiss happened. Anything from their expressions to their dialogues, so there too the Direction is what takes a major hit!

So what we as audience are trying to say is we are all mature adults, we can accept it that there are not going to be intimate scenes for whatever reasons. I dont think there is a need for generating uncalled for excitement in the scenes, because frankly people are going to see through it soon and start getting fed up of it too! So do it or leave it and stop toying with us!

We all generally agree that except for the intimate scenes, the scenes between the lead, their conversations are engaging and very heartwarming. So no need for cheap antics!

All those in favour of the motion, please do like and comment. Its only a feedback and request to the makers of the show. Hope it does not turn into a war zone!
Signing off
Me.

I am indeed in favour of the motion.

The makers of the program have constraints by the actors and by what is acceptable to the audiences however, they can still show kissing on other places not the mouth and when a kiss on the mouth is a logical conclusion to the scene, the camera angles and behind the heads should be shown, then after the kiss the actors must be directed to show the after effects of having kissed.

On the studio set date, the chocolate on the mouth is a perfect example where they did indeed toy with the audience, Madhu and RK in the end wiped the chocolate themselves from their own mouths. That was toying with us.

If it's the 7 phere marriage that is the problem, they don't want to show intimate scenes because the characters are not truly married yet, then like you said, do not have any intimate scenes at all, because it does show fake, when you spray perfume directly instead of spraying the perfume on yourself and kissing the neck, because we are not kids, we are mature adults and to us we know how the scene should have been for RK to leave his smell on her when he is going out. So they should not treat us in this manner. Cheap antics is the right word for that particular scene.

So where are we with this, don't toy with us because we are likely to get fed up, don't promise things you are incapable of delivering.

I'm copying a paragraph of yours amritha's here, for the benefit of other forum members that may think we are criticising everything about Rishbala, which we are not...said paragraph here.. We all generally agree that except for the intimate scenes, the scenes between the lead, their conversations are engaging and very heartwarming. So no need for cheap antics!

Good post. I agree with you amritha's 👏

Tweet/Facebook this! Limitations are all well and good, but there are ways around things to show us the passionate, mature, love story that we were promised! What good is the intensity at a distance if the scenes fall flat close up?

I agree. Both actors have done initimate scenes before. CV should ace up the initimacy and passion between them...they do not have to be shown in action:)) For cute romance, we have other couples. Some one should post this on the MB website.

completely agree…they should not unnecessarily raise viewers expectations by publicizing or promising a promo/precap ,which they are incapable of executing or delivering properly…

I agree with you whole-heartedly. If they have problems with doing intimate scenes, then just leave them out. There are other ways of conveying intimacy, like you said.

And as Guru Dutt used to say, 80% of the acting is done through the eyes. Black & white movies rarely had intimate scenes, yet the actors were able to convey passion through their eyes, body movement, voice modulation etc. 😳😳

I would rather see RK kiss Madhu's hand while looking at her passionately, rather than all those silly missed kisses 😉

I am already fed up with their gimmicks... CVs please grow up and treat MB as a passionate mature love story... we are not asking a hot kiss or any bold intimate scene (😭),, you can still show passion and intense love even with a touch or caressing...
