There was something missing in today's episode...not sure what but it did not make an impact.
I know that there is mass dissatisfaction on the speed of issues getting resolved but my guess is CVs want to close all home based loops especially extended family based before they open the next set of issues.
Now on to episode- Radha gifts a photo from Jagrata to Madhu which shows RK looking enamoured with Madhu(the photo is truly ridiculous and seems to be put together from two different photographs). She even pushes to hang it on the wall (what is with Radha pushing Madhu to hang it ?) While I understand that Radha was worried with the bitterness induced self destructive streak she has sensed in RK and is happy to find him opening up to Madhu and life in general, I still think she is still oblivious to the true emotions of her immensely complex son. I find it odd that she never sensed extraordinary animosity between Dips and RK, she never truly explored why her son thinks that her husband is a wastrel and so on. She seems to be a very meek, weak and indecisive character expecting others to take care of the problems which incidently would explain why she remarried in a hurry.
Anyways Madhu is not sure how Rk will feel about the photo and decides to take it down at the same time wondering why Rk did not trust her despite his own affections being so deeply engaged. if she needs to ask, she is not understanding her husband and his feelings. she falls ...he catches...eyelock(yawn!...totally bland scene...can we move on...). What is funny here is that Madhu asks is she can prove her love some other way...it almost seemed she is geering for a CBSE or SAT retest. 😕. Of course Rk asks the question again and you can almost sense the hope in him again which I loved. This time Madhu does not disappoint ...he promises to marry her with complete rituals. Madhu is touched and hugs him. RK suddenly backs off ...it would have made sense if we saw the couple get into it and getting aroused but alas that is not how it came across. anyways madhu wants him to fix issues with radha and he walks away in his usual style
The rest of the episode is not worthy of mention because somehow Madhu seems to believe that pushing Rk into accepting his mom via drinking a cup of tea is going to make everything hunky dory. One of the biggest issues I have with the tellywood is that almost all the shows seem to equal naivity to being braindead. The female protagonists are goody two shoes who decide to crusade for lost causes and come out with flying colors against all odds.My issue with Madhu is that she does not seem to be learning from her missteps, she is not latching onto the undercurrents in Bhatia-Kundra household and her understanding of her husband is simplistic.
Rk and Bittuji are the most fascinating creature to me in this entire show followed by Padmini. Rk is literally a bag of contradictions. He is multifaceted talented person with an observant and sensitive side. He can however be ruthless and cuttingly sarcastic when required. His craziness, ruthlessness and sarcasm all seemed to be designed to keep people away from him. Bittuji probably understands this hence displays the unflinching loyalty. I find it interesting that he rejects his mother openly but he shares his wealth and house with her and his step family. She still rules his roost so as to speak in terms of daily household activity. He is also careful that none of his stepfather's wastrel activities are ever relayed back to her. My guess is that he wants some sort of assurance from her that he is still the most important person to her. The way I see it RK is all or nothing kind of a guy. He is ready to go an extra mile for loved ones and expects the same back in return. Unfortunately so far everyone including Madhu have failed him.

Yes and no ... I think RK believed that he was out for revenge but there was more going on in his subconcious.
I think Madhu intrigued him in more ways than one . He was bored and cynical. He had seen so many betrayals and seen so much selfishness his entire life that he did not believe that there could be any goodness anywhere.
Then he meets Madhu who is ready to fight for a stranger with a multi-millionaire star...all out of goodness of her heart. He was determined to find the selfishness in that act.
To top it off, he had probably been coming across people who bowed and flattered him, this girl was ready to take him on with no resources. She was his equal in craziness and fire.
Her beauty called to him and her goodness and courage intrigued him. When she slapped him, she insulted him making his ire rise.
Her father's sickness gave him the perfect opportunity to take her a peg or two down while at the same time satisfy his curosity regarding her motives and goodness.

Neither RK understanding Madhu's refusal to go with him begging or mountaineering nor his clarification as to their relationship and confession to stay undivided got registered with me. Scenes looked rushed and insipid.

CVs, what happened with you guys?

What's with this RK-Rishab, Rishab-RK?

Why is RK again asking her whether she will go with him if he solved all her family problems? Does he still doubt her and her love for him? Is he trying to weigh her love based on her reaction to those materialistic things that he can fulfil her family with? What the???

Why is Madhu differentiating between RK and Rishab? Didn't she say once to Pads that RK is a hard nut outside but with a tender/golden heart inside? Does that in anyway mean they are two individuals?

They needn't have gone crazy confessing their love when they had so many doubts surrounding them.

Tell me RK and Madhu, once you are done with all your familial duties, what are you going to do? Pilgrimage?

RK, if she comes and lives in a hut/mountain/jungle, will that testify her love for you? OK. But what about her? She does not have a mind of her own? She must leave behind her family, her place, her comfort, her dreams, and all just because she has to prove her love to you? How are you going to prove your love for her? or you think it isn't that necessary because you have multi-personal disorder and only you need help?

God, what's happening to the character RK? uff... never mind... hope for a better morrow!

I liked the RK-Madhu hug, mainly due to RK's expression - to me he conveyed the feeling of trying to get himself together after being totally shaken, a very confused expression - trying to make sense of what he's doing/feeling.

I know lot of anger against Radunce, she may be foolish/selfish etc, but her love for her son cant be questioned.
Looking at timeline, RK must have been a teenager when she got married. So his reaction would have been extreme with all those hormones kicking in. Children can be pretty mean too. Maybe she wanted to give him space, without realizing that the only way to deal with RK is to barge in and fight like Madhu.

Madhu's mission - I think she feels she's doing her duty, both towards RK & Rads. Duty is an individual concept and not universal concept. RK has so much anger against his mom - that much bitterness will eventually invade other areas of your life, knowingly or unknowingly. Moms don't give baddua's, but if Madhu can goad RK to reevaluate the relationship with his mom, why not?
For Madhu, her selflessness is her strength - when you are not looking out for yourself, God will and that too with abundance that can'r be matched !

Hey all just wanted to remind everyone that as early as on Dec 6th episode when Rads apologized to Madhu, we discussed Rads angle to be addressed for Rishabh.

They showed it today or rather presented it today by making Madhu talk to RK. So that means our analysis and CVs are actually on track. So I should not be surprised myself why it touched my chords today.

This was just hilarious. 🤣 🤣

Now, the question of RK wanting to leave everything behind and going on a pilgrimage.

Guys...haven't you though of taking vacations, sabbaticals ?
I mean I am into them very much. I douse myself into relaxation when I want to leave everything behind that has become boring and non-sensical to me. I move from one phase to another phase with long cessations induced from my normal life. Actually currently I am in that phase.

RK ...who calls himself RK yaar ? There is a name. isn't it ? It is Rishabh. But who buried Rishabh and made himself called as RK ? Rishabh himself. What's so wrong to have now nothing to do with RK and just become Rishabh, whichever he appears to be.

This is again a phase for Rishabh, where he wants to be Rishabh with Madhu leaving everything of his RK-extra masks. The phase can be short-lived or whatever.

And one more thing...taking vacations with loved ones is actually difficult...because we never know if two people are having same wavelength. I want to be joined with people I love, but then often I feel I am better off alone. But then sometimes trips makes sense. Every going away or Trip is a journey into self-exploration.

There are lot of journey based films. And especially two people in love wanting to leave their mundane world and going somewhere is so appealing and romantic.

Of all trips and journeys...I am reminded of this movie today ...Darjeeling Express. Interesting journey.

OMG!! What a disaster. I am staring to have some serious problems with the lead characters now. I remember the first episode I saw was the party episode where RK insults Madhu in front of all the guests and I was simply mesmerized by these two, which got me hooked on to the show.
But considering the happenings of past few episodes, it has really left me disappointed. So RK is in love and has lost his mind completely. My question is, does love change your personality, your attutude? I believe it just gives you a new perspective. But this guy, is ready to forget all the wounds inflicted by his mother just because his wife wants him to do so or deep down has he always wanted something like this? I dont accept this.Besides, I have not seen his mother making any efforts whatsoever to mend their relation and heal his wound. Then what the hell are CVs showing all of a sudden?
RK is the soul of this show. I have always had problems with the way Madhu's character has been sketched out.(My apologies if this hurt somebody's sentiments). But, her naiveity is turning into muddleheadedness now. Whats with her taking up this Radha-Rishu mission right after her husband walked out on her annoyed with the very same issue? For me, this only points to one thing. She has failed to understand him. He is not a normal man to appreciate such efforts. He is not a man who would admire his wife for taking up secret missions behind his back. I am personally against all this hide and seek game.
I can see how their relationship would shape out.
RK: Madhu is my love, my obsession and I will prioritize her above evrything.
Madhu: I love RK/Rishabh/Rishu(watever. It still rattles my brain).
Thats all. She will never be able to make him his priority, and this will always hurt him and he will have to live with it, how much ever he may love her.
As to Rishbala moments in today's episode: things were fine until the hug. This was the most dispassionate, disappointing hug I have ever seen on television. I know the actors are reticent, but the the title of the show itself says 'Ek Ishq Ek Junoon'. I didnt even see a trace of Junnon's J in that hug.
CVs: We want the juoon back. I want my RK back. Remember, you need not change the character entirely for them to fall in love. I am pretty sure RKs character is the number one reason for the shows popularity and good TRPs.

Today: Liked the Rishbala moments, tolerated with patience the MadhuRadha moments, waiting with excitement for tomorrow's episode!!!

I was wondering: Why every mission fails under Radha's observation? Today, she couldn't even present Madhu with a nice decent photo. That picture was the product of: cut and paste gone wrong!!! Here is a closer look:

What was she thinking??? However, I'm in the process of making my peace with her presence, she is Madhu's Ladli Saasuma, I have to get over it even if I don't like it.

I think that the RK's hug looks like thath, because of he is shy of greater intimacy, since he wants to have "physical contact" with Madhu. 😳You know what I mean. 😉
