Foremost, I just couldn't get over how in the middle of Madhu complaining(yesterday), Rk looks at the festive splashes in the sky above, and smiles at the irony of it all. .. That smile, maybe a little wry, and then his explanation of what it was that was funny.. gave my pulse a trip.

..and he carried that vein today.. when he tells her, emphasizes on what made him fall for her, and what specifically had no role(her blood, KC ..). Love is strange, inexplicable and in most cases , should remain so..

There can be fondness out of habit, and gratitude out of, well.. gratitude. But to venture out to explain 'why' you love someone, the answer should be as irrelevant as the question itself. and that's what he answers there, not why he loves her, but what it is about her that affects him the most- his cluelessness about her(and her smile), and her utter disregard for his orders, and oh I just melt whenever he mentions just how stubbornly she wants to not do his bidding.

I was a puddle when he had mentioned what it was that was funny , you know.. god! Her complaints right then were insignificant he knew, in front of what he was about to tell her.. so he didnt mind her crying, her hurt.. instead right there in front of her, hes fondly reminded of what she is in the firecracker display above.. that was gooey stuff right there!

But yeh, this post , is just to contemplate on why I liked today so much(as much a futile exercise as any).. no lengthy explanations here😆, i m just feeling out loud is all m doing😎

I loved the confession.. it was unadulterated RK, ... and in how Madhu goaded him relentlessly into giving her what she wanted to hear.. and then insisting on sharing what was in her own heart.. she is really the M the shows about.
And the kiss was as M and RK as it can get..

As to the misunderstanding.. it was bound to happen. RK's sorest spot is known to Deepali of course, and the man is emotional enough to respond in the manner a sane man wouldn't. EH loves too much, and even now, he bared his heart to her before this test bullsh*t.. c'mon.. i think we go over this in every show- we arent talking about love deities here, to worship and venerate.

Its two people and extraordinary circumstances! man! the journey to learning more of each other is what makes a story.. more the flaws, the mistakes, their eccentricities , the better out connect with them , the story.

As for Madhu, the man did not give her enough liberties , or rather she did not take any, that would allow her to call him Rishabh.. that facet of their 'new' and highly volatile relationship remains to be explored.

In short(yeh now😆) i may have hurt for both, but I like where the story is going, and I absolutely adore the scriptwriter..

as for RK and Madhu, ... Right 's the word.

I think you are the first person who made a very obvious and pertinent observation...that RK never gave Madhu the liberty to call him Rishab.

Infact, their relationship never called for it.

While I liked the way the confession was made, I thought it was too fast tracked and thus the overall effect was spoiled.

What caught my attention was the way he said his love for Madhu was destructive for him...I think he used the word 'barbadi" if I'm not wrong...if I were Madhu (standing in the same place where DD as Geet acknowledged her love for Maan...yes, it's the same sets), I would have realised there and then that this was no loving tender confession but a bitter, forced one that refused stay put. And that, it's consequences could be disastrous for both of them.

His twenty questions should have had her antennae twanging like a tuning fork...but missy was too busy thinking of others and their expectations of her rather than her husband's.

Having said that, Madhu has always been portrayed as someone who keeps her word and lives for others. So, how can she suddenly put herself and her needs before others, even her husband's who is virtually a part of herself.

lovely post..👏

@bold...exactly what makes this show so interesting to watch.

Oh yeah the writers are doing a fab job. They are bringing out the inner feelings and nuances of the characters beautifully...😃

@Pippa.. I sort of agree that the confession was rushed, But then again, I dont want the show to indulge our senses in every way and take a comfortable route..

When Rishabh had narrated all his life in front of her by the lake, it negated the need for anything more (in abstract that is).. that was profoundly romantic..

The way this confession played out, hell, if anything it only elevated the tension between them! Deepali's desperate tactics goaded him into something which is out of character, but the that is what love and hurt do.

and its not merely Madhu 'thinking about others'.. only that day she was taunted that while her dreams were coming true, the ones she hadn't even actively sought(!), her entire family was torn apart, so were their dreams.. anyone , anyone who loves their family wouldn't leave them at this juncture even if there was precious little that could be done by them..
Her support is not merely for them, but for her own self too.. she loves them! that's all the justification/validation needed , if any at all.

I personally loved the confession and the way it played out.. tore my heart, and it will too, as we go ahead.. but ..:)

(I go verbose the more involved I am , so kindly umm overlook(!)😆)

(and barbaadi? i missed that part i think.. )

I might sound as a fangirl but I wonder what all Madhu faced in a single day:
scene 1- back in her mayka with dileman
scene 2- will RK come or not?
scene 3- Trishna cursed her for life time while she has just started to live with a hope with RK
scene 4- Back home devastated and RK missing
scene 5- She goes to meet Rk and he confessed unexpectedly
scene 6- she goaded him to say it again as she is in utter shock
scene 7-She confessed her love and RK all set to test her.
scene 8-she is ready but few concerns cropped in her mind and here goes RK.
scene 9- Hell broke lose and she actually has no clue where she went wrong?
Phew...Love is not fairy tale as she must have assumed.
I m sure of one thing no matter what happens, they can't bear each other's pain.

i know! and isn't that enough for now? it does away with the notion of love being something quantifiable , exchanged in packets;).. it needs to grow, and evolve and change.. goosebump stuff☺️

and yeh.. the girl's been through much in one day and still hung on to her own. Thats M. Kindly go as fangirly as you must.. I myself feel as loony as the blank thought bubble over my head;P

Amazing post 👏

I for one dont really have complaints on how the things played out..on how RK wanted to test MB or how MB hesitated..It was bound to happen..Thinking the way he has been for all these years and provocated by none other than Dipali..the person whose betrayal has rankled him the most and still continues to do so..it is not surprising for him to have doubts..because RK inherently believes that no one can love Rishabh and Dipali gave words to his biggest insecurity..And Madhu hesitating thinking about her and his family..thats exactly how she has always been..full of love, care and consoderation for everyone..
So according to me they were both in character..and that made the confession all the more awesome and unique..the way RK grudgingly confessed his love love for her and they way she goaded him into saying it..It was so much them..

I hate unnecessary MUs most of the time but I believe it was needed here..RK and MB were living in their own world since a few days.and this was bound to happen when they came out of it..to move forward, it is imperative that they conquer and sort their own issues and past..only then they will truly be able to move forward together leaving behind doubts and regrets..

And kudos to the CVs for explaring the nuances of their relationship..I have hardly ever seen a hindi daily with as much attention to feelings and emotions as I am seeing in MEIEJ..and boy am I glad that they arent sweeping major things under the carpet..or arent focusing only on one lead..

I am excited to see where they take it from here..

yeh! I like the finer nuances they ve shown.. in fact its made them soo addictive, the small things:).. the great part being, MB is given as much strength and eccentricity as RK, unlike how usually female protagonists are show in one shade, monochrome format.
