MADHUBALA EK ISHQ EK JUNOON
12/12/12

Dips sure struck gold when she put her finger upon RK's throbbing nerve—-his Achilles' heel by mentioning that even though RK the Superstar had every material comfort , his life was lacking LOVE——The very same love that had eluded him when his Dad committed suicide, when his mother wed another man and when Dips left him for glitz n glamour. Dips challenging him into testing if Madhu loved RK the superstar replete with his name n fame , or Rishab the man who had left all his worldly possessions aside and only had his love to offer——-sure put RK on the defensive , prompting him to defend "meri Madhu" (which was a first btw) and justify her actions in favor of her love for him. Dips single question regarding what name Madhu called him by, left RK in a quandary when he realized that Madhu did indeed call him "RK", which according to Dips warped reasoning , meant that Madhu was in love with RK the "superstar"and all that the name was associated with, but not Rishab——it was heart wrenching to see that he actually had tears in his eyes thinking about the probable truth in Dips words , little realizing that Dips was a despo who wanted him at the cost of all his relationships as well as hers. I thought that the black n white photograph of RK standing and waiting on a train station platform (or so it seemed)was symbolic of his confusion and hesitation regarding the direction that his suddenly colorless life would take ——as well as his ultimate choice to take momentary refuge in his farmhouse in order to give him the necessary pause in life to plan for his test. I loved the fact that Madhu pulled herself out of her depression regarding RK's non attendance at the luncheon as well as the after affects of Trish the trash's meaningless Baddua that she Madhu, would never be happy in life. I was wondering if Radhaji or Padmini might know of any pooja to nullify the effects of a witch's hex, to prevent the God fearing Madhu from attributing every undesirable issue in her life to Trish's curse ! All I can say is kudos to the CV's for portraying this un imaginable dramatic twist of events like a spoke in the track of the railroading Rishbala romance—-one thing's for sure, that neither us nor Rishbala will ever forget this once in a lifetime date 12/12/12, when life started getting much more complicated and unpredictable for our protagonists —–ushering a turning point in their relationship per se.
