Hello everyone. Started watching this show this past week and the first thing that struck me was how the story line invoked glimpses of the age old fairy tale of Beauty and the Beast (no points for guess who is who :)) and the Phantom of the Opera. Rk certainly comes across as the Phantom and Madhu makes a perfect Christine. The "Raoul" of the Opera has been set aside already (if we are to dismiss the guy who was engaged to Madhu before).

Given the above similarity, the fairy tale ends happily ever after for the pair while the Phantom of the Opera ends in tragedy for our "hero" RK. It will be interesting to see how they twist the tales to create a whole new dimension on the old plots.

Thank you all. I am completely open to what other possible threads they can possibly add.

Will RK "give up his love" because he finds Deepali to be too "dangerous" for Madhu- in his own quixotic way does he believe that he has to keep Madhu "pure" from the "keechad" of the ugly world he inhabits?

The writers for this show have certainly picked a very grand canvas and can keep going on the story for months on end.

They can also go the way of RK belittling Madhu to make her "grow up" into the harsh world of films and she does just that to "prove" him wrong as she continues to love him (that will be like one of those American novels from the late 70s and 80s about a Woman of Substance type).

Certainly many possibilities but I just hope they don't kill it with an unnecessary distrust track.

Yeah they have taken it to make Madhu a star from a simpleton and RK will be with in this ordeal either with love or hate ...

I don't think he can let go of Madhu anytime soon ... she is his Junoon , so that feel of letting your love go and if it comes back its yours ... this realization may come in later ...
