Romantic... umm not sure..
but more of caring n guilty mode... he feels responsible for M and may b bit guilty for not caring for her just the way she cares for him..

Plus i dont think he knws much how to care for someone you really love.. that is y he is trying to imitate what M did for him when he was sick..

Initially M was also in caring mode but slowly realized that caring has given way to love .. i think same transformation will happen for RK to realize his love for M.

N i think after bittuji's lecture he is understanding M's affection for him .. n he is trying tosee n feel it in his own way .. they way he was staring at her while tying the dori..

ya may be u r rgt. He is feeling guilty 4 MB's condition. So he is paying bck wht MB did 2 him,whn he wz in dis condition 2.Most of Rk & MB actions r similar 2 each other. Dis time Rk may also realize his luv 4 Madhu aftr caring 4 her.
