Madhu sees his tears and asks Bittuji to not say anything. Its like she did not want an ounce of negative energy from her well-wishers. So she asked him to not to say anything at all. She is already into the Deewani Phase with complete conviction in something she believes in.

As we discussed, I feel exactly the same way. It's so important to keep that positivity especially when all around you you can see in the eyes of everyone that passes by (be they well wishers or not) that your positivity is misplaced, to hold onto that conviction you cannot allow for that negativity to be put out into the universe so that you may hold on to the faith and positivity.

Liked it how RK remembers her beautiful empathy filled eyes for him when she was correcting the collar as he looks at the jacket. Liked it that he did not decide to go back to her remembering her pain in the same jacket scene, although I would not have minded it. But it goes to show that RK in his utter honesty towards his wife's Karva Chauth ka Vrat, did not go back to her as a human feeling towards the pain she was undergoing with the ill-health, but rather was going back to her because her empathy, warm regard for him beckoned him to her. The wife should get back her husband and so RK decided to go back to his wife to complete her vrat. Liked how RK also realized that he too has to submit to Madhu considering her belief, her junoon is as equal to God beckoning him to relent. All by the end of the song...Yahi Ishq ki Marzi Hai , Yahi Rabb ki Marzi hai

👏 so well put SD, exactly how I felt.. (I feel like I didn't even need to write my post now as you're saying everything I was thinking but probably better!). I bolded and italicized an extra sentence up there, I loved that they didn't show her pain which is why I said that I didn't think it was guilt that brought him back to her (although he might feel some guilt - thus me conceding 10% of his feelings to guilt - at what he said to hurt her, her taking pain upon herself for him, him wondering if he's even deserving etc.) it was simply Madhu as Madhu he was remembering.

How poignant was that ?!

Her wonderment at her own belief coming true, that indeed He is there in front of her.

Her happiness that, indeed he had come to break her fast.

Her gratitude that inspite of his own principles, he came back just for her.

There was depth indeed in how she understands her husband and how she delves in to know him in all totality. And he had to say that...There were only two Ziddi, Him and God and how come She joins their league now.

I adored that, her wonderment and happiness and gratitude, she had complete faith in him, against all odds and everything everyone was saying (or not saying) around her, against what the man himself vowed to her in that vanity van, and he didn't let her down. Is extremely telling in and of itself to her in regards to how he feels about her. Regardless of whether or not RK is ready or willing to admit what she means to him outloud or even in the privacy of his own thoughts is pointless, his actions continue to speak louder than his words could. This is RK though, I don't know that I could see RK as the man that was telling his wife he loved her every moment of the day. His words are the complete opposite of what his actions show his wife, him telling her not to get sentimental, him saying their marriage isn't real, but his actions are always to the contrary. Okay, did that turn into a random rambling? lol

II. The sense of humour that binds Rishbala and explains the Bhatias.

The Bhatias

Humour. The humours of our life that let us express ourselves and get going with our lives. We also call it humouring ourselves from our daily grind to live through it. The Bhatias have their own sense of humour to get going in their daily ups and downs. When their faces fell upon the defeat that Madhu's 40% husband has indeed come, they draw out another weapon in form of humour from their kitty. They indulge in yet other mockery of the husband and wife. According to Dips Bhatia, energy to keep a fast comes when one is 7 phero waali Biwi like her and not a 4 phere waali Biwi like Madhu. 😆 She cannot stop that chanting that right ? Even when RK came to finish his wife's vrat. She never will stop. And the Joru ka Gulaams sitting at home doing nothing, have awarded RK with a new title Joru ka Gulaam. 🤣

@bold - whenever Despo starts going on about the virtues of marriage and family and trust or whatever she's harping about at the time my mom always pipes up with "lai, the aap ki karde ah?" lol..

So basically, who are they humoring ? Themselves or us ? At each defeat they convince themselves in their make-believe that they are still the residing judges to judge RK and his Biwi for their actions. Bin Bulaaye Mehmaan doing Ulti Ganga Bahe such as Ulta Chor Kotwaal ko Daante. Besharmi Ayyashi Jab Had se bad jaati hai, Woh din door Nahin, jab Woh Apna hi Mazaak banaane pe Majboor ho jaayen. Sings who ? Sings Shridevi. 😎 That happened to the Bhatias when they entered RK's room just to show their presence as courtesy requirement. They got rewarded with RK Sense of Humour. It was at doorstep when the Doctor said, Mein Kal Subah Blood report Bhejta hoon. The blood report is going to show what toxicated Madhu's stomach. We are actually going to see when Deepali again tries to get at Madhu...as shown in the Precap scene. Apne hi mooh ke bal giri. Khwaab mein bhi na socha hoga aisa uska sach baahar aayega. 🤣

Very apt observation as usual about the humor here in both paragraphs 🤣. I tried to imagine you singing here as well I might add lol

Rishbala

I am more interested to talk on RK and Madhu's sense of humour and how much it binds them close. He tries to be cynical. And she is such an open slate. His sarcastic humor is always registered by her and she answers him in her simplicity with all directness. She may not be joking and entertaining as RK, but when she answers him, she always travels all depths over his sense of humour in any context and returns the repartee in equal jest-filled manner. It touches RK in every way giving him a thrilling excitement...almost close to him being bamboozled by her. He is always taken aback by her the way she reads him. And what amazes him is that she rarely tries to show off. And this feeling...this deception of Madhu...her coming out in surprise package in her repartees, always erodes his cynical cover. And both are still happy to keep the pretence of him being the sarcastic guy and she as just as any naive girl who can be bull-dozed by RK. I must say high regard for each other's intellectual capacities. Actually this is where RK likes to romance with his wife. He is so proud of her in those moments. VD reflects RK's pride for his child-like wife in these moments perfectly. The spark in the eye, the tiny meeny movement of the jaw, the lips...the face looks like it just swelled in huge pride for his wife.

👏 imagine this guy standing up here because honestly Shri, I can't pick one part here that I love more, it's just simply amazing the way you've described them. No words.. (I'd like to add that I loved your use of the term bamboozled lol) What I will add here is I love what you said about her matching him toe to toe in their banter, her repartees, eroding his cynical cover is what I love the most, there's an easyness that falls upon both of them when they do this. Oh and how you picked up on the subtleties in their movments and actions, so brilliant! As an aside, I adore when she catches him off guard with her teasing though and he's left dumbfounded/stunned (eg. the whole jacket exchange on set). She could have so much power over him I think...

If anyone did not understand where did all that happen in the episode or what is the reference to context...it is all Madhu and RK interaction...Taam Jhaam, Madhu's expressions, RK's actions, jhoot bologi...karele ka juice...Senti, Main RK hoon. Apne Udhaar bhi Aphe upar nahi rakhta, Phir tum kya cheez ho Biwi, AaHaanh !, Utna tez to chal raha hai ki tumhaari Dil ki baat samajh sakoon, Karzaa Utaar rahe ho, Madhu-lisa...

The increasing Intimacy of knowing in terms of body language

Did you see all the ceremonious completion of the Vrat. How RK was unconfortable. He wanted to see her, but was so shy. And she sensed his discomfort and yet finished her act, especially the "Tikaa lagaana" and she was even openly smiling. Madhu's smile never stops when she is adoringly looking at RK. And superliked when RK did not allow her to touch his feet to take his blessing. That was so good. Seriously it is not even required when the wife is gifting her present to her husband through her prayers to God. And that ssshh Kuch Nahin hoga tumhe...it was more for himself rather than her. And why did he take her to his side of bed ? He did see her Mehndi and finally the gushing warmth for her when he touches her face in her sleep. Earlier he could not keep his hands for long as Biwi was awake but later in sleep, he feels her "stupid" wish of keeping vrat for him in such an endearing manner as if he was trying to take away all the tears she must have shed during the day when he yelled at her.

And today Madhu actually said the same thing that once AA mentioned here. He presents her the greatest torment and yet gifts her the greatest happiness.

They always manage to create their own pvt world even as they live and spend their moments right in front of Bittuji and the unwanted Bhatia Clan. And this is through their passion expressed through their eyes, hands and the way they speak to each other, both verbal and non-verbal expression. When Radhaji enters the room...Madhu senses the growing agitation and tension in RK and tries to restrain him. He justs lifts his forefinger and warns her to stay out of it. He couldn't be soft to her with the surging anger towards the clan. Did you see how he shirked her hand away? And he bull-dozes the unwanted clan in his room. I mean how much they have started to understand themselves with body movements.Loved how he kept her hand in his hand so that he does not miss a single twitch of hers in his sleep.

@ bold in this last paragraph .. so true. It's beautiful how they manage to do this.

I liked how the show creatives have created an RK who does an actor-showtime-filmiduniya speak. He is always comparing real life situations to movies scenes or film-world dynamics. The way he said...Bittuji, bring all the awards and present this clan with Best Mother, Best Actress in a Supporting Role etc. They added even the Colors GPA, Best Bhavuk Personality...

The language reminds, how our daily life and the language we use goes through occupational hazard. I incorporate so much of my stock market and FIX protocol speak in my daily language.

And some passing remarks.

When Bittuji is taking a pic, the way RK looks at him 😆

It was funny to see RK's beard in varying sizes over the entire length of the episode. Sometimes it was clean, sometimes it was stubble. I did not like when Madhu calls out "Maa". Was that even needed Madhu ? 😕

No. It is not at all guilt. It is purely for Madhu that he goes to her. Tell me how is he guilty? If we want to say something of that sort, we can say discomposed with what be created for himself and Madhu. Its because of him that she is fasting, no fault of hers, but then she need not have fasted at all and it was like never ending loop of questions and answers until he saw the jacket and remembers her lit up face when correcting his collar. There was not an iota of doubt or hesitation in her eyes and face in what she was feeling or doing. That clinches the deal for him. He makes his mind to go.

I just wanted to say...if did you all listen to Bulla ki Jaana by Rabbi Shergill ? This is more towards humanity and not the Ishq and junoon of Teri Deewani. Nevertheless.. the deewanapan can be seen, by the lyrics. The song is by a Bulleh Shah, a Punjabi Soofi Saint

Did anyone besides me find it strange that RK knows how to manage an IV drip? Would you know how, if you were an actor and not a nurse or doctor? What if it occludes? What to do when it runs out? (The insertion site will clot; one needs heparin lock.) For me, it was the only strange part of an otherwise fantstic epi. But it did truly seem strange.

Khair - I guess it is just one more aspect of super-hero RK. He will cause you to faint, but will be on hand with IV and dawaii, so not to worry😆.

The episode was fantastic today and I am pretty sure everyone would agree to that. The precap was mindblowing where we are going to see "Dips ka pardafash" tomorrow. I am very excited for that and love the CVs for not sweeping her treacherous act under the rug.

Coming to the episode, I loved the fact that they showed the reflection of RK and Madhu in the pond with moon in between them. Madhu had so much love and pride shining in her eyes for RK and she just couldn't believe that he showed up for her and hence kept repeating "You came". We all witnessed Madhu's infinite love and devotion for her husband RK and her willingness to sacrifice for his well being over the past few days without taking any credit from anyone for the hurdles she had gone through to keep this fast. It was symbolically shown that with moon as their witness she had performed the ritual that acknowledges him more than just a life partner. He has become her protector who cares for all her needs, comfort and happiness and so this bond has now become one that is sacrosanct. We have already seen RK acknowledge this bond today by showing up to break her fast, caring for her when she fainted and assuring her that he will not let anything bad happen to her. That was an aaww moment for Madhu and that was clearly shown in her eyes which he yet again did not want to see. RK was never a bad person that he made himself to believe. Even in the past, it was his ego that was hurt by Madhu slapping him and publicly humiliating him. Any man of his stature would not have let that disgrace and humiliation slide and RK was no exception. He has come a long way from being a torturer to a caring, nurturing and loving husband and that actually brought a smile on my face. Bittuji was so happy to see RK back home to break Madhu's fast but what's up with him taking pictures. It better be that he is planning on making a scrapbook filled with all the pleasant memories and gift it to them when RK proposes to marry Madhu properly with all the customs and rituals in place? Otherwise, it looked odd with him snapping pictures of a private moment between a husband and wife.

I know that @Shri was talking about how none of the the women including Radha has an ounce of humanity to be concerned for Madhu who looked unwell and did not have her fast broken. It was disgusting to see that they were all getting ready to eat when Madhu was waiting all alone for her husband who may or may not turn up. Radha finally grew some brain after hearing RK's screams and Bittuji's frantic calls to the doctor only to be stopped by Dips. However, she excuses herself to go and check on Madhu under the pretext that after all she is a human being who lives in the same house as them and was fasting for her son's long life. Now, I did not see RK BBBing her or the entire Bhatia gang simply because Radunce was trying to put an act of a concerned M-I-L when she was careless of Madhu for the past couple of days and accusing her of doing all this to get in her good books. Now she comes and acts concerned infront of RK hoping to get some brownie points from her son and hence she clearly deserved all the yelling, screaming and harsh taunts. RK nailed it when he said that two days ago she wanted to throw Madhu out and now all of a sudden she is concerned for the same girl. Madhu being her compassionate self was trying to stop RK from taunting Radunce but RK never listens to anyone and goes on to do what he is best at doing and that is BBBing. It cracked me up when he said "Bad Night and Bad dreams" to all of them and gave them the directions to get to the door and get out.

Madhu staring at him and asking him if he is paying back all the care that she had provided to him at the hospital by being her caregiver now was something that we all have wondered and thought about. The part where she says that he is RK and does not retain anyone's favor and pays them back using his own dialogues was cute amd RK was praising her for her sharp memory and her mind working so fast. Her response to that was the icing on the cake where she says that she wishes that her mind would work fast enough to know what is in his heart and clearly RK understood what she meant. Madhu asking this question was to know if RK has feelings for her and is caring for her out of his new found feelings and not just because he wants to payback what she did to him in the hospital by taking care of him. She had so much emotions in her eyes that even RK who is capable of masking his emotions could not hide the fact that he is indeed falling for her and wants to shield her and protect her from any harm even from him if he thinks that he could be the source of any pain.

It was so sweet to see the caring RK niharaofying Madhu by caressing her cheeks and making sure that she is in no pain while sleeping. Eventhough, Madhu was not scared it seemed that he was scared of loosing her and hence holding her hand to reassure himself that he is there by her side and will not let anything happen to her was very endearing. He is indeed like a little kid who needs reassurance that there is nothing to worry about and everything will be OK. It was a perfect loop closure for what Madhu did when comforting him while he was thrashing in his sleep blaming himself for his dad's death.

Precap was super duper good as my wish of wanting Dipali to be exposed is going to come true and RK is not going to let this one slide. Loved Bittuji who pretty much disgraced Dips by telling everyone including Radha that she never ate the Sargi and threw it in the trash which ended up being eaten by Madhu. I think more than anything this will make Radha realize her folly and understand Madhu's worth and hence we will see the transformation in her per the articles. I am very excited for tomorrow's episode.
