Its either the actress or else the soft beauty of Madhu's character that makes RK appear so precious now. It seems like if Madhubala could do it , she would wrap RK in silks and brocades, place him on a throne and give written permissions to wind to touch her precious Pati. I mean, small things like Madhu watching RK sleep with that loving dreamy smile on her face, straightening his head gently even though her hands are wet with henna, always checking on him one last time while she goes to sleep, going an extra mile for RK and not bothering about eating Sargee from a garbage bin, leaving everything and running to him at that one scream of 'Biwi'. Looking at him like you do at a frame of a Yash Raj movie - blushing , moony -eyed even though he is angry.
I am not sure if am expressing it correctly , but Madhubala's feelings for RK are so deep, pure and child-like. Its the kind of love that never happened to her and the kind that will never happen again. Its so beautiful and innocently committed.
RK? He is addicted to this doe-eyed biwi of his in his own twisted way. I love his drug-addiction to her . He may not want to face his feelings for her but he needs his biwi just like he needs his breath to live.
Awww moment? RK telling Bittiuji to 'shush' up 'coz his biwi is sleeping and later telling him to get lost so that he can fight with his Biwi. Oh, and that henna dot seemed like MB has marked RK for life.
This KC is going to be tough for Madhubala - she is gonna fall ill, face RK's ire and wait for him till her bones and strength give away. Daud ke chale aana RK. Kachre ke dabbe se tere liye Sargee khaane waali Biwi har kisi ko nahin milti. :-)
