I initially thought the test would be what Deepali faced and failed, that similar circumstances Madhu must face then RK will trust her with his heart. So have a choice and choose RK. But this KC fast might be the reassurance that he needed.

But every time he comes on screen what I see is a lonely little boy. I think that's partly why he is so possessive of Madhu. He bought her for 40 lakhs for revenge true, but I think there was a small part of him that wanted her in his life. As he said , she was the only one who had been square with him from the start, the only one who told him exactly what she thought. She was real and that was new for him. I think , in a way it fascinated him and made him feel alive

Just see the sequence of events after marriage. He tries to break her because he loves to see her fighting back. Why? Because that's probably the only way he has of connecting to her. Of having an actual relationship with a person who isn't fawning over him or deceiving him. That's the only way he knows

Studio happens. Clearly they can't go back to being enemies again. Too much has happened. So he tries to find new ways to communicate to her. That ear-rings scene-that ia a erfect example. He deliberately tried to rile her up, for her to talk back to him and give him an opportunity to engage in a real conversation ( for him a conversation is a fight) with her.

After the shooting he didn't need to do that anymore. She had taken down her barriers and had no problem in coming close to him. But he still doesn't know how this works, how having a friend, a person who cares about you around works.The first feeding scene-Adorable. He tries to push her away but he is secretly loving the attention she is giving him which is why he insists on her feeding him the next time too😆

And right now, the original reason for my post. The getting angry at the smiling Madhu. You are absolutely right there. He is angry because he doesn't know why she is laughing and he needs to know. He wants to know everything about his Madhu, her thoughts,dreams because she is his. The only real friend he has. That's why he is so scared of coming close to her because he thinks everyone he ends up coming close to will leave him

But he still hangs on to her with the tenacity of a child to his favourite toy. A child who won't play with this special toy because he is too afraid of getting it dirty , but he damn well won't lose it or give it to someone else. Because it is his precious toy
