Part Four

RK began shaking Madhu; she looked up at him and then heard her name being called. Though the voice was RK's, his mouth didn't move. He had a set smile on his face as Madhu continued to hear her name. She heard her name one last time before her eyes shot open. She saw RK leaning over her; both his hands on her shoulders. She quickly sat up and avoided his eyes.

"Bad dream?"

Madhu shook her head, "Good dream."

"What? I heard you call my name." RK asked confused.

"No, I must've said...wait what rhymes with RK?"

"Biwi..."

"I guess it was a bad dream then, good night!" Madhu tried to avoid the conversation. She laid back down and closed her eyes.

RK stared at her for a minute before he went and slept on the couch.

"CUT!"

Karan clapped, "Perfect! Exactly what I had planned! Splendid you two!"

Rishabh and Madhu walked towards Karan

"Says the guy who continues to yell 'CUT'," Rishabh laughed, Madhu joined in.

"Actually, I yelled cut to let you both take a thirty minute break," Karan told them.

"Yay!" Madhu said with clear joy in her voice.

Rishabh was just about to walk off when he heard his name and he turned to see Madhu.

"Where do you think you're going so fast?" Madhu asked jokingly.

"For break?"

"Wrong."

"Well then Madhs, tell me where I'm going?"

"It's MADH-U! And you're coming with me."

"Where?" Rishabh asked with clear confusion written on his face.

Madhu didn't answer his question. She grabbed his hand and pulled him to the corner of the studio.

"Uh...Madhs, don't you think you're moving a bit too fast?" Rishabh asked teasingly.

"Shut up Rish, I just wanted to ask you something," her voice became serious.

Rishabh knew exactly what she wanted to ask. He tried to avoid it.

"I think Karan just called me," Rishabh said as he turned.

Madhu grabbed a hold of his hand and pulled him to face her again.

"I'm not stupid. Well, I mean I'm not deaf. I would've heard if he called you. Now tell me something."

"No."

"I didn't even ask you yet!"

"So? I don't have to tell you anything."

Madhu snapped her fingers in front of him, "Wake up, snap out of your character. You're not playing RK right now. Reality check."

"I know that. I'm not trying to be like RK!"

"Mhmm, now shut up and listen to me. Why'd you suddenly cut the intense scene short?"

"Why? Did you want a little something more?" Rishabh winked an eye and went to put an arm around her waist.

Madhu pushed his arm away, "I'm serious Rish. You've done so many intense scenes in your past movies. I've watched them. What happened to you today?"

"I'm tired Madhs, And I wasn't in the mood."

Madhu stared at him silently and a slight offended look began to cross her face.

The words echoed through her mind, I wasn't in the mood...

Rishabh stared at her and then realized what he had just said.

"No, I didn't mean that I lost interest because of you..."

"No, you lose interest when you're playing opposite me. I get it."

"N..."

"EVERYONE COME BACK HERE!"

Rishabh turned to look around him as Madhu's eyes looked over his shoulder. They saw Karan fuming about something.

Rishabh turned to look back at Madhu. She gave him a slight glance and then ran towards Karan. Rishabh followed slowly.

"What happened Karan?" Madhu asked curiously.

"Look, look at this. IT'S ALL RUINED!"

"Karan, calm yourself, what happened?" Rishabh asked.

"It just...someone spilled chai on my only special copy of the script..."

Rishabh laughed.

"That's all? That's why you're freaking out? Really Karan? Take mine. I don't need it. Make it as special as you want."

Rishabh handed Karan his script and then looked towards Madhu.

He grabbed a hold of her hand as her head instantly shot towards him.

He pulled her away to his dressing room. Once they were inside, Rishabh locked the door behind him and turned to stare at Madhu who stood there with her usual adorable annoyed look.

He slowly began to walk towards her.
