Hi Maria, yes previously he wanted her to care for him and be his wife when they were alone and publicly also, but now he is seeing the way his feelings are changing and his growing need to be with her, he has developed habits around them being together, going to sleep together, going to work together, those habits is what he is trying to break, on the eventuality Madhu leaves him, he won't hurt as much if he gets prepared from now.

So now he doesn't want that from her any more, he wanted before but now his realised her giving that care has affected him to the extent he is relying on her, and if you rely on someone when they leave you are heartbroken right? That's why he doesn't want any more.

True geetha, me too feeling sad for her, her smiles today, she's living on cloud 9 with her new love, RK is asking her but she can't stop the smiles. I don't know what horrid stuff the CV's have got planned to ruin her happiness. but when she is crying we will also cry.

I agree with you Nafs he is trying to fight his feelings or feels that she is pitying him. At the lake he revealed a vulnerable side of himself that he never has prob to anyone. He hides the innocent heartbroken Rishab behind the confident mask of RK. That mask came off in front of Madhu and now he feels naked in front of her. (I mean in a symbolic sense, I know it sounds wrong) Another thing he almost confessed how much she means to him a the lake. He said he can't bear to see his worst enemy go through the pain of betrayal than how can see Madhu go through that obviously implying she was very close to him. So I think it's the lake scene that changed the dynamics of this relationship because before the lake scene RK pinned Madhu to the wall wanting her to admit she go scared hearing him cough. He was very flirtatious and making advances towards Madhu like caressing her hair. After the lake scene he became cold.

The test mustn't be preplanned as we the audience will feel it's RK trying to humiliate her by putting through this trial and even if she passes the test (which she surely will) it won't sit well with us that he put her through it in the first place, we will end up focusing on that rather then the fact RK has been reassured that she won't leave him. So it has to be like the example I gave you, a similar circumstance that Deepali faced when she was with RK, Madhu given an opportunity to be a heroine in a film but choosing RK over that opportunity, easy choice to make as it's not her dream to be in films anyway 😆, but Madhu chooses him over a film, fame and money.

Yes Gurtiluv, RK nearly confessed to Madhu that his own enemy he wouldn't wish this to happen, and what about her, meaning he doesn't think of her like an enemy at all. Again in front of Padmini, Radhaji, Deepali and Madhu in front of the door he said "who takes 4 phere for 4 slaps" I took that to mean RK never saw Madhu as an enemy then or even now. I always maintained he brought her close to him out of amusement initially then now he started to care for her, and she him, but because he doesn't want to be hurt again, he is putting her away from him now.

I agree the moment of that confession at the lake side is when he changed, it suddenly came into his mind and has stayed there that giving his trust to a girl is folly...she's bound to leave him and he will be suffering having gotten used to having her around (taking her to work, only sleeping when she is near etc). But before the lake scenes he was ready even for their relationship to progress, when he cornered her on the wall. But going to the lake it reminded him of all the betrayals his suffered.
