RK's preparing himself for when the time comes and Madhu betrays him like everyone else and leaves him.

I was thinking why would RK be aloof, start drinking sharab...vodka, take the pillow and blanket and go sleep on the sofa.

Before Madhu came, he would sleep only after drinking alcohol, he is trying to return to the time he was alone without Madhu throwing out his alcohol and he having cute fights with Madhu and she tells him goodnight and sleep with the pillow barrier but still companionably...but then if that's the case why tell her he trusts her? That he knows she would never lie to him. That he has all the faith in her. If he really believes all those things, why not allow himself to be taken in by her charms...to fall in love now?

I am thinking the same...all of a sudden his behaviour has started changing again, he's going back to the RK he was before Madhu came...

I also get the feeling that this guy will push Madhu away the moment he knows that she loves him...
But this makes me wonder what was he trying to do when he cornered her to the wall

I dont think so ...its like he can' t take sympathy from anyone ...be it Madhu ...so that's why he is reacting like this ...the worst part is he can't address her emotions too/incapable to deal with emotions ...

he is scared again what he does not know is madhu is very loyal, he is expecting this or he will make it happen this is so confusing, i think in the next couple of weeks we shall see their passion n love for each other so after that i am not sure

Most definitely when he cornered her on the wall he was checking if she was ready to take their relationship to the next level, but between then and now something has changed. In that he revealed more about himself, his past relationships that ended because the other parties betrayed him. So he is trying to mask the vulnerability now, with a macho act, I was fine before you came I can be content with what I had before you were in my life, the alcohol, his work (going to filming alone etc.)

Something else I was thinking and I put it in Mulla's thread...I think he wants Madhu to fight to be close to him, so he wants her care, concern and love. But he doesn't want her to give up on him and stop trying though he is showing her that he can switch and be a janver again at a turn of coin. He wants her to fight to be with him, even though he is the way he is, not want to change him just love him for the person he is now, the tortured soul 😳, betrayed by many before her.

His mum was pushed away so many times but we heard on the table he still wants his mother to love him, and take care of him, though he is the one pushing her away from him in the first place, his zid says she must break off with kukuji first then she can be his mum.

Similarly with Madhu he is showing her you care for me right when I am the way you want, non-drinker amiable husband, but how about if I return to the way I was before, will you still care for me...So now RK is treating Madhu the way he would treat Radhaji and lets see with they different personalities (Radha and Madhu) how Madhu will fare, will she fight to be close to him, unlike Radha who would maintain her distance though RK needs her...

RK is sacred ...
he does not want to hurt himself again...
he knows Madhu is trustworthy...
but, he does nt want to be forth time unlucky...
All previous ppl he loved or thought who loved him... failed to live to RK's expectation of loving him back..being with him.. when he needed them...
He knows one day Malik will gv him money n take Madhu back.
as per the contract Madhu won't be with him..
He don't want to go closer to her cause he knws he is falling...
he shared all his past... but, Madhu never asked him about it..
all she asked was why you saved Malik..
he could have said I dor wantef you to loose dwn on your faith..
RK is very good at words .. he could have said anything n Madhu would hv nodded ..
but, he wanted to open up his heart to her...

Hi Nidiz I've highlighted the bold - as similar to what I've said in my opening post. So summary he is returning to his old self to get himself prepared for the time Madhu won't be with him.

Nidiz, now his opened up his heart to her, why has he clamed up? Has he decided now that they relationship will not progress further and that he should get used to the way his life was before Madhu, even though she is still there...right. Despite his earlier positivity in their relationship when he was pressing her on the wall for her to tell him her feelings for him, then he wanted to progress their relationship, now his resigned to their relationship ending when Malik comes with the money to take his daughter.

But by now RK should know that madhu is not going nowhere.. And im pretty sure he does.. He did let her pacify him.. He did let her console him.. And on top of that.. RK being the ego eccentric dude he is.. States that he doesnt need anyone pitying him.. Talk about multiple personality disorder.. Lol.. Jokes apart.. i think RK himself is terrified of his feelings towards his BIWI..

He himself is confused on what he feels...and more so he is afraid as he can see the changing emotions in her eyes..and he is feeling the same too..bas he is afraid that she might just leave him like teh otthers..:(

I think RK is scared of falling in love again..and its clear he already likes madhu but he is fighting his feeling.. Also he knows madhu is developing feelings for him..He is just avoiding an awkward moment...
