Well said Leela😊. For me the only revelation was that he loved Dipali at some point, and that was disappointing for me to know about him.

I don't mind MB giving loads of publicity because suspense creates too many very varied expectations.😊 But I wish they would not give out outright red herrings.
This time, they should never have said that RK would reveal *new* stuff about his past. We all built castles in the air with our expectations.😕
I found the actual ep superb , but the glitch was the publicity flub-up, not the content.

I really fail to connect to RK... Thats why I wasnt so impressed with the episode..

Yes, it was disappointing that RK should have ever believed himself in love with Dipali. But considering how little he knew or understood her then, and how little she knows him even now beyond obvious habits and preferences, it does not *seem* to have actually been love.😛 RK may then know the difference when he truly grows to love Madhu and lets himself accept it.😳

Hope you had a great time, and also that you like the ep.😊 My glowing opinion of the ep is one of a rather varied spectrum. So it'll be interesting to see what you think after watching it.😛
Re. the pace and direction of their story, agreed.😃
Thanks for having taken the time to read and comment here.😳

Oh. My. God!!!! I saw the episode!!!!!!!!! and I even read that Telly tadka's review and the symbolism they mentioned were just superb!! especially in the end... they showed the whole journey of the Rishbala... The past(water), the present(rippled water - RK state of mind, rough terrain, and car) and the Future(the greenery)

And after seeing the episode.. I completely agree with you.. it was just a golden chance for Madhu to know her husband. The revelations were not something we did not know as viewers but, it was for Madhu and we could see all the hurt and pain of RK through her eyes... RK was totally in his character and somehow I am loving him more after all these... Oh, yes... he is opening up but again that was Rishab who was talking for me.

I actually loved the episode. And I saw many were disappointed that Madhu did not react much when he revealed about Shamsher... Well, if you see.. she was totally focused on RK and it was like all she wanted to know about RK and she was seeing and knowing it from the devil himself. And she was moved by his pain and was justing thinking about RK and RK... and only RK... She would not have reacted to anything or anyone ... we could see that in the next moment in the car...
When RK told her to tie the seat belt... but she was just lost in her thoughts about RK.. RK had to do it himself.. and it was only his touch that got her back to the present...😳

I am just loving the little details they are showing about the growth in their character. It is just so beautiful and also painful to see them... And agree.. with SD.. it was very peaceful episode. I too was very content watching them bloom...

Hmm... true... and I won't say anything to you for that.. RK is one complex character and for a person to like him or rather understand and connect with him the person has to see some of should have suffered some sort of pain that hurt your soul... Maybe that's is why I connect to RK and I am drawn to him as an individual. I am drawn to the persona he has built and how strong he stand no matter how broken he is inside.

That day when he had broken all those bottles and told Madhu... this is my life... can you join them??? somewhere in my heart I cried for him there... and I felt God!! he is so alone!! I feel.. any hurt, emotionally... is harder to heal if you don't have the support.. and for that person healing process is long.. no matter how much you join the glass pieces... the mark will always be there...

So, it okay.. if you don't connect with RK... I am happy you never had to be alone and suffer.. or rather you have great healing skills... that even when you are alone you heal... or you are good at hiding the hurt... I don't know...

I felt that yesterday's ep was not - contrary to advance publicity - about making any new revelations about RK's past.😛

Rather, the point was showcasing the extent to which Madhfu's reactions have focussed on him.😳

What RK said was gutwrenchingly portrayed by VD, but it was nothing dramatic or melodramatic. But even seeing him *remember* painful memories was visibly agonizing to Madhu.

He is used to doing things for others without thinking it's anything he deserves to be appreciated for. The Bhatia foursome are exceptional at sucking the life out of anyone and thinking it's their right.🤢

But in the case of Madhu, it's going the other way round.😳 She understands the intent and absolute unimportance he gives to his good deeds, and places his pain above all else.

It was an outstanding episode with every one of RK's understatedly hurt words showing their effect in Madhu's fantastically expressive eyes.😳

What RK was saying we already knew, and it was the more effective for his attempt to avoid expounding on the years of effects of any of the betrayals.

But Madhu's reactions have recently been to his actually *being* physically or emotionally hurt.😳 This time, just his *remembering* being in pain was hurting her. She's going further on the path of junooni ishq, and DD portrayed that level of exceptional emotive bond exquisitely.

RK was saying the dialogues of hurt and yet trying not to make himself look like a fool for trusting people repeatedly. But it was Madhu's eyes that were doing an entire accompanying dialogue that was meant for the viewers and not her husbandto see.😭😳

DVD are managing to hit all the right pitches in their characterization portrayal, and the effect is outstanding.😳

A superb presentation in terms of acting and overall taking forward of the Rishbala storyline.⭐️

It is a pleasure indeed to read your post. Your take on yesterday's episode is fantastic. This episode reiterates the fact that Rk has implicit trust and faith in Madhu. For him to confide in her about his traumatic past just proves that.
He gives her a concise account of how he was repeatedly betrayed by three different people whom he trusted more than anything in this world. I agree with you totally Madhu cannot bear to see him suffer emotionally or physically even for a second. Seeing him remember those painful memories was clearly not easy for Madhu to handle, emotional anguish was clearly seen in Madhu's face. Her beautiful eyes were conveying her feelings and those eyes said it all. Vivian and Drashti did a admirable job and did justice to their characters as RK and Madhubala. This I must say has been one of best episode to date. I am glad Rk confided in Madhu about Deepali this way misunderstandings can be avoided later. Your take on the Bhatia foursome being leeches is a fact and RK out of the goodness of his heart has been generous to let them all stay in his house but three out of the four clowns are always looking for ways to drain Rk's wealth.
Rk does not want Madhu to feel sorry for him nor does he want her pity. One thing is for sure they have both started caring and falling in love with each other and each cannot bear to see the other in pain or discomfort. The beautiful journey of RK and Madhubala has begun where there is trust, mutual respect and love. I am looking forward to enjoying their journey

I am sorry about any pain that you had to undergo in your life. Its not bcos of that I dont like RK's character. I have had my share of pain in my life as well. But I have never allowed it to affect my relatonship with others or allowed myself to grow bitter. Infact I am not impressed by people who on tragedy grow bitter- it just shows how weak the person really is.. You will never get out of a traedy if you concentrate on how others betrayed you or how fate has treated you.. Instead focus on what it taught you and wat you gained from it..

Wow Leela ! Awesome post on an equally awesome episode 👏

Agree with u completely ... it was Madhu's day when she got a closer view of the splinters of RK's shattered soul ... n as u said so beautifully - ' it was Madhu's eyes that were doing an entire accompanying dialogue' ... but alas ... 'that was meant for the viewers and not her husband to see.'

Wonder what RK thinks when he sees his pain mirrored in Mudhu's eyes

Reminds me of few lines from an old hindi song ...

hamaara dard-o-gham hain yeh ise kiyun aap sahete hain
yeh kiyun aansoo hamaari aapki aakhon se bahete hain...
jo humne daastaan apni sunayee aap kiyun roye
tabaahi toh hamaare dilpe aayee aap kiyun roye...

Thank u for this lovely post ... 😃

Hmm... very true... one should say positive... but, if tragedy keeps striking you just so that you surrender... a person becomes bitter... And I feel.. it is good to spit out that bitterness or else it keeps accumulating in the person and one day that person is just beyond repair.

Positive outlook helps.. it has helped me too.. But, sometimes it is better to dwell in those tragedy... it helps you see all the points.. it helps us to think about what we did... After venting out your anger.. you can always be positive... But, it is difficult to be happy and positive when tragedy strikes. That moment you want to attack and vent out...

It takes times to heal.. I had read in one book...

One should live all emotions fully... When you are happy, you should live it fully... that you can differentiate between the kinds of happiness... Once we start living fully.. we ourselves know which feeling/emotion we are living.. and we can understand our reactions better. One can differentiate between being annoyed, angry or upset or hurt... or embarrassed or shy or guilty or content...
