I think in the coming episodes this is going to Madhubala's state of being.Because honestly she is halfway in love with RK because she's been through hell knowing that she might loose him for forever.Whereas RK hasnt really had Madhubala ''loosing'' experiences.

I mean unless 4Lions wants to stick to their moto of the boy realizing first and then cut to misunderstanding and torture track.

I think that here RK is in such a well built anti-emotional fort that even if he does care for Madhubala he'll never really want to admit the depth of his feelings rather he'll fight it.Mostly because he suffers from abandonment issues.I know Madhubala also has a very scarred past as well but Rishab has always been hurt by people he loved.His father's suicide and mother's remarriage has left him feeling discarded and not required.

Deep down he feel neglected and thinks everyone will eventually leave him.And this is something his self respect and ego cannot stand.His success and his fame is all to prove to that world that he is important!!That he is the all hail almighty and that he doesn't need people to approve of him or to care about him.This you can see when Rishab tries to justify himself in front of Madhu but isnt able to but later does scream out that he didnt insult Mallik.

He operates on a fool me once shame on you and fool me twice shame on me moto.

*I ramble too much but well this is an amazing show*
