Kya yahi Pyar Hai...❤️
::A rishbala OS ::
RK sat up in his bed, fifteen days since he was back home, still he found himself grimacing at the pain in his chest, his hands would not cooperate to eat properly and his Biwi was there right beside him to spoon feed him narrating wildest tales akin to Mr.India.
He turned to his right and there she was lying peacefully in her slumber. Her hair was messy and yet she managed to look cute. He smiled a bit and brushed some of her hair off her forehead and slapped himself. Gosh! He was acting like some romantic lead in his films. No way he would touch her! He quickly dashed into bathroom for a shower.

He reached the set. It was his first day of shoot after ages. He was glad to be back and it felt good, the weakness, the numbness in his hands vanished as he waved to his fans who gathered around the studio. Bittu ji was there, saying his shot was ready.
He smiled. He couldn't thank Madhubala enough for this. All he did was torture her and she saved his life, so many times and took very good care of him while he recovered like an ardent biwi. He shook his head, perhaps that was just Madhu's humanity.
"Tumse judi har baat mujhe acchi lagti hai.. na jaane kyoun.. dil baar baar tumhare hi bare mein sochta hai.. woh pal joh humne ek saath bitaayein hai.. aisa lagtaa hai aanhkhon ke saamne hai.. " RK finished his dailogue, remembering his moments with Madhu.
There was something in her, that got him. She was kind, brave, stubborn and incredibly.. he paused, nice. He hated to admit that aloud, but it was true. Madhubala Malick had indeed developed a soft corner for herself in his heart.
"O paaji.. kahin tumhe us kudi se pyar toh nahi hua.." a co-actors dialogue irked RK.
For a moment, he forgot that he was saying a dailogue in his film.
"How dare you! RK ko kabhi pyar nahi ho sakta! You get that... how could you-"
Reality dawned on him about what he had said and he slapped himself. Almost.
"Sorry sir... main sirf apna dailogue bol raha tha... " was the meek reply from his punjabi co-star.
"hehehe.. woh bas.. I just joked.. I was-" RK stuttered. He could feel Bittu Ji's raised eyebrow and that grim smile playing on his face and the weird looks of his set members and the lead heroine. How could he take some filmy dialogue to be a personal one?? RK.. get a grip. Jaldi kuch soch..
"I was testing you.. just wanted to test ur reaction.. " RK took a deep breath and looked around, partly relieved that the set members took the incident lightly.
The shoot was over. Bittu Ji offered to drive him home himself. He was glad the stupid shoot was over. He thought he'd be free from Biwi's constant bickering but all he did at his set was to think of her.
He shook his head. He would not think of her, no matter how much kindness she showed.

He was finally home. The door opened. He found himself smiling at the sight of his Biwi, who was sitting in the sofa, clutching a bowl of salad.
"Ab toh aate hi honge.. mujhpe rog jamaane keliye.. har din kisi na kisi tarah salad miss karlete hai.. aaj aisa nahi hoga! Main bhi dikhaati hoon, ki Madhubala kis mitti ki bani hai.. aur toh aur-"
*cough* *cough*
He coughed to gain her attention and smiled.
"Kya baat hai biwi! Tum aadarsh patni ki tarah aise shapat mat lo.. kyon ki tumhe pata hona chahiye.. tum haar jaaogi.." he commented.
Madhu was taken aback, but smiled, "tum kab aaye.. OK.. haan main aadarsh biwi ki tarah tumhareliye salad banaya.. toh tum bhi aadarsh pati ki tarah chup chaap khaalo na.. mera kaam aasaan ho jayega.."
"Sorry Biwi.. yeh toh main nahi karsakta.. " he plopped down beside her.
"Tum thak gaye na.. " Madhu looked at him with concern, "yeh salad khaalo.. acha lagega.."
"No Biwi!"
"RK tumhe khaana hoga-"
"I won't.. bolo kya karogi?"
"Khilaadoongi.. "
"Oh god Biwi.. dheere karo.. bas ab main khud khaa sakta hoon.. and I'm gonna throw this into dustbin.."
"Jaldi khatm kardo.. aur sochlo..yeh toh bappa ka prashad hai.."
RK grimaced & ate the salad.
"Tumhe dekhloonga main..." he warned her as she stiffled her giggles.
"RK.. Salad kabhi prashad mein rakhte hai kya.. well, main toh nahi rakhti.. " She laughed.
He wanted to yell at her, or at least frown but he found himself smiling slightly.
"Acha.. ab jaake tum fresh hojaao... baad mein apne badle ke baare mein sochna.. " and she broke into a run.
RK sat there watching her with a smile as she moved upstairs humming a faint tune.
"Waise agar aapko kisi ki har cheez pasand aaye chief... aapko sochlena chahiye.. kaheen yeh Pyar toh nahi-"
He threw a nasty glare at Bittu Ji. There could be no way that he'd fall in love with Madhu. Could it be.. love?
