accha one more thing. ...the kitchen lighting off i dont know why everyone is like bouncing on the characterisation of RK and blaming the script...he never moved beyond the age of 12 from the day his dad died..this dark superstar is nothing but a deprived , lost and helpless little boy..he will do anything to make the will of god prevail in his household ,even if that means challenging his pawn's faith..her faith reminds him of a distant reflection of what he used to be which is now a dead and beautiful memory that he loves to unsettle and challenge all the time when he sees that tinge within madhu's soul..thats the biggest reason why he forced marriage on her as a mechanical contract. she is the past reflection of a rishu who is slowly going through a renaissance...the twelve year old heart therefore raids in agonising defense mechanisms for all the bruises...it makes sense.anyway. RK's heart and soul is a mask of anachy to himself for the reason his dark , smirking image loves to be a poker faced mask of anarchy to the world.*sigh*. :(

Hmm, one would have thought a sexy, successful millionaire might find somthing to be grateful about, you say? And rightly so!

FQ: Yes FQ. What I feel uncomfortable about is RK is not shown as one of those film industry cults who blindly bank on their God for their success or their movies' success as commonly seen. He seems to be rational, intelligent, smart, but religious too like any ordinary human being is. Holding Bappaji for the darkness that swept over his life is not unrealistic, I mean all of us tend to vent to our God at several points in our life when we are faced with the inevitable and are totally rendered helpless. But rationality prevails at some point, right? I can't take it that RK still wants to hold on to his 12-year mindset and does not want to grow up. Holding Bappa responsible for the tragedy in his life more than he does his mom, or anything/anyone else in his life is a little too immature. I understand that the CVs are trying draw the depth of his inner turmoil and his attachment to his past that defines his presence. But still could they have opted for something more substantial than playing on religious beliefs alone?

SD and Siri: I absolutely agree with the essence of the FB track. But some more thought to how it must have unfolded could have given more grace to the show and more gravity to our RK <sigh> Taking his name kills me nth time. 😳

SD, missy is falling for him from great heights. I loved her soft smile and the sweeping glances she throws at her husband's back. Could you please allow me to say again that I just LOVE THIS LEAD PAIR? They are out of the world.

I am just waiting for the evolution of these characters and then how the two are going to be drawn to each other like powerful magnets. Awww... imagine the attraction and repulsion that would suck us in out? Love this show.

Thanks Escape for your comments 😊. We all bounce on his characterization because he is too hot and savvy. 😉

And that is exactly the reason why antics such as pulling the fuse off does not become of his character. It is not we but the CVs who created what he is. And I just love what they gave us in RK. I don't like it if they themselves change the definition a bit and make him look anything less than the RK he is. For me it ( the fuse off act) was like nothing less than the Dips act of filling the modaks with garam masala. Come on, not my RK yaar.

Exactly my thinking. 👍🏼

Over the time if the kid had not grown up, RK would have been known for his OCD behaviour. Now the OCD behavior that I am aware of is not being impressed upon me by RK.

And the video games playing, that is no kid or OCD behaviour. Everyone nowadays plays games. Everyone around us. My hubby, my sister, my colleagues and even for that matter did you people see DD playing video games ? During Geet days, she & Melanie used a play a lot.

Nice post.

I hope all this is leading up to some kind of catharsis for RK and he gets to resolve his issues with Ganpathi soon.

Btw, lovely and telling title!

I so agree with each and every word u wrote, I could not connect with RK outburst yesterday with Ganesh out of blues. I mean MB hasn't did anything after bringing Ganesha to home, that could make RK question Ganesha to the extent they showed last night. It lacked the substance required for a character like RK to come out of his den and question the supreme power. Apart from that, even I didnt find anything special in his acting ...it was more of OTT ...😕...however, I loved the cute moments in bedroom and the last 5-7 minutes took the cake for me ...the way MB showed him despite losing so much in her life, she hasn't given up and whatever happened to him must have some reason. I am confused if RK was actually affected by the truth she shared abt her past. 😕 I doubt. It was ironic to see how both dealt with their pain in different manner yet they have been brought together by destiny.
