The episode should've been named "The strange case of the Modaks and Madhu" in my pov, as the entire episode consisted mostly around the Modaks ---whether it be Dip's failed attempts to publicly disgrace Madhu by putting garam masala in the Modaks, or Madhu's attempt to convince RK to partake of the divine blessing , or RK reminiscing about his naughty pranks with Bappa by gorging on a few under His all seeing eyes . I do admire Madhu's guts of going into the Tiger's Den and having the courage not only to thank him for Mallik's recovery but to invite him to join the family for a meal with Bappaji as well-----knowing fully well how both issues would irk and irritate RK. I guess Madhu has learnt to read between RK's harsh and sarcastic words and gauge his actions pretty well------hence her expectation of seeing RK coming out of his self imposed confinement and join them , despite Dip's assurance that he wouldn't come. I could sense the feeling of elation from Madhu's hint of a smile , when she saw RK descending down the stairs . Btw, I noticed that RK was wearing red today -----could it be to impress BIWI I wonder ? but what ever reason -----Ahaaan I like it ! Even though it was a well executed filler episode leading upto RK's journey of renewing his faith ,with Madhu playing a pivotal role, I would like to agree with my friends' opinion that since MEIEJ was conceived as an out of the box serial with a different storyline from it's very inception------the mundane matters of bahu rivalry and kitchen politics in typical Saas Bahu serials may be quite unnecessary at this juncture. Another fervent request to the CVs is to please look into the make up and overall styling of Madhu, as it is sometimes unflattering and detracts rather than enhance her natural assets. All said and done, I must admit I quite enjoyed Bappaji's divine intervention in saving his bhakt Madhu from public humiliation and disgrace , showing the triumph of good over evil------sheer poetic justice in my pov .
