"Somewhere within you is an RK". What a telling statement that was. With this statement Superstar RK, not only acknowledges his admiration for Madhu, but also recognizes her as his EQUAL. What a compliment coming from a man of his arrogance and ego! He recognizes in her a kindred spirit. He acknowledges that she has in her the qualities- the same qualities- that helped him from falling, shaped him and set him apart from the crowd. Defiance, courage, strength, steadfastness, loyalty- he admires these qualities in her.
"I am going to put the stamp on our relationship through your lips." RK challenges Madhu. He could have very well kiss her without telling her. He doesnt.
He knows if he does, he will break her completely, which he doesnt want. It is the battle of EQUALS. In this battle, RK gives her the choice. Run while you have the chance, he tells her. RK, giving someone a choice? The same RK who thinks himself above all- giving someone the choice to deny him what he sees as his right... Has he ever given it to another girl? Haaa... But Madhu is not any ordinary girl- She is his EQUAL, which entails her of his respect. But does he really respect her? In a twisted way, he does. By denying her the kiss, he makes sure her self-respect is still intact.
But, RK, being RK, makes more than one strike here. He succeeds in humiliating her before all. 'You might tell the world you are my wife. But I deny you the your wifely rights'. By his actions, he tells her that, "between you and me, you might be my equal. But, I still call the shots." He knows he has dented her spirit, ensured he is ahead of her in this game.
But RK, do you realise that "in denying Madhu the rights as your wife, you denied yourself the rights as her husband?"
What a complication we have here.
Madhu, What can I tell you? As a woman I can understand how much courage it must have taken for you to stand in front of everybody and take this humiliation from your husband. My heart goes out to you. This is your fight. A fight for your diginity, self-respect and womanhood. However, much RK tries, win this fight you would.

After reading some of the posts in the forum, I got the feeling that everyone is disgusted by RK's behaviour at the party. He had been the same before. So why do everyone feel so outraged today?
His behaviour towards Madhu was no worser than what it had been in the past. Was him beating up Malik any less? Was him forcing her into marriage any better? Was him making his wife a spot any less? Was him telling the media about their alleged love affair any less? Was him telling the world "Malik isnt her father" issue any less? The answer is no..
So why today? Today RK meted out one humiliation after other, and he introduced another angle to the whole game.
In my personal opinion, the only real humiliation in the party to Madhu was how he ill treated her- the waitress issue- making her go this way and that way. The kiss issue was not a humiliation. Better not to be kissed by someone you hate than be kissed. To be forced to endure such a kiss would have been a real humiliation.
RK is out to win this game. It was his ego that was challenged by Madhu. It was inevitable that RK would do something to crush her before she becomes stronger. He is bound to say things that is sure to hurt Madhu. And he said what he knew will hurt her the most. Lets just imagine the whole issue in a different way. RK stops from kissing Madhu. He tells her she doesnt deserve to be kissed by RK. Why would he say such a thing? Because he doesnt want her to know that her tears had affected him. The rest of the drivel about her being disappointed is just his desperate attempt to prove to her and himself that he is the one in control. That his actions are not governed by her.
PS. I am not justifying RK's behavior. Just giving another twist to the whole thing..
