Would it be at all possible to encourage comments to be written using something approaching correct spelling and passable grammar? Some of the comments on this forum are utter and complete gibberish. I can understand where transliterated hindi or other language has been used, but when English is the primary language used, surely it is owed to forum ettiquette and readers that the language used be as correct as possible. Or is it now the fashion to sound like you were a drunk, illiterate and lazy baboon with your fingers stuck together with your own drool?
And remember-- icons? Are not words.

😳 😕 🤔 Like seriously 😲 🤣 🤣 🤣

I don't know where are you from... From India or any English speaking country but people here are also from non English speaking countries. I am from France and here no one speaks english... It's like they can only say hello hi bye bye... 😆 If I speak english it's only because of my family. How can you expect everyone to speak and write correct english 😳 Come in France and let's see if you can speak correct French 🤪 It's not because you can't express yourself in French that we will say please come later when you will learn correct french 🤣 We aren't here for any job we are here to enjoy and make friends from different countries. Don't you think it's amazing... Friendship and love don't need to speak the same language 😉 You see I speak english but my hindi sucks big time still I enjoy talking with friends in hindi... The best way to improve it 😉 My friends sometimes make fun of me but it's cute actually 😳

I'm sorry my friend but this sounds a little too rude... Its an open forum and everyone here is from different age groups, different culture... different backgrounds... infact totally different walks of life and you need to understand that. You just can't expect everyone to be perfect... Besides we are not in a literature / language class...

I did not mean to sound rude but i guess your post does!!!

I find your post highly rude. This is known to be a Indian forum, firstly be lucky that people here speaking English otherwise we can always go back to Hindi.
Are you expecting this to be a English class? - thank I am sorry to say you are at the wrong place.
Adding to that have you ever hard tex talk- well that's what most people do here.
And before opening such post again, of you find this forum a really bad place and English is not up to your level than next time look before you visit- at the top it says INDIAN FORUM.

You can get lost with your english

I did not mean to sound rude but i guess your post does!!!

I can completely see why, in a forum where no such discipline has been imposed, standards will become lax. However, my request is by no means as the draconian expectations of most moderated fora. For example, one simply cannot post on the Guardian or NYT website without a modicum of legibility. There, standards are not only requested, they are ENFORCED.
Mistakes are permitted--as is somebody trying to express themselves in a language with which they are unfamilar. It is the complete lack of effort from people who communicate a significant portion of their thoughts in some form of English in any case that is galling, and reeks of disrespect. I mean, how hard is to spell-check your post? And by promoting and encouraging good communication skills for the very young people visiting this forum, we are actually making their online time more useful, enjoyable and cumulatively productive.
Hence, I must respectfully decline all charges of rudeness for my initial post.

I had no idea I was in a English Lesson!!😕😕 *oups thats a confused face btw (by the way)*
I will use whatever language in whatever form i choose to write it. If I needed a grammar lesson, I would have paid a highly intellectual professor to teach it to me!.. No need for your charity😃 Adios (it means Goodbye in case your language barrier is limited)
