OMG! You remind me of myself. i live in Canada and am punjabi too. My mom is always worried that I need to learn to cook. You know what, more than making the subjee I hate chopping all the vegetables that have to go in. It takes forever, first you peel them, then you wash em , and then you cut them. It's just so much work😡 and then you have to go through the trouble of making it. And don't even get me started on the rotis! Argh! For some reason mine don't turn out round, and I hate how it sticks all over your hand

My family was very social so over the summer so i had to cook like 4 subgee and like 65 roties ever 2 weeks cuz we kept having so many guests over😡. i love choppping the veggies now(they r so much fun🤢) before i used to get cut so many times ...hahhahah ur roties dont come out round 😆god i remembember those days lolz i feel ur pain dearie. Yea my beeji is also always on me for cooking indian as well i dont wanna learn to make saag (it literally takes the whole day to make)
