Shedding glamour
Popularly known as Mallika of Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi, Rakshanda Khan will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar. The actress has shed her glam look for the show Hum Phir Milenge. Says a source related to the channel, "Hum Phir Milenge is a romantic drama revolving around the life of Chandni Malik, played by Rakshanda. Working as a housemaid at a mill owner's house where she is treated in the most inhumane manner, the serial tracks Rakshanda's rags to riches journey where through her hard work she metamorphoses into a successful business tycoon." Initially, she will portray a simple girl but as the story progresses she will be seen in a glamorous avatar. Directed by Rakesh Chowdhary, Hum Phir Milenge went on air this week on Doordarshan. Produced by Samvaad video, the show also stars Raj Zutshi, Vineet Raina and Kuldeep Dubey in important roles.
