She has been "serving" people like malik, roma, her didu, and her mom out of love and choice but "serving" RK is not what she wants to do but what she is forced to do.

P.S. Have you made a new account just to post this?!?

Actually, I meant her work in the beauty parlour, which is a service industry. Her job there would have involved serving strangers. And the point I'm trying to make it that none of this is humiliating in and of itself. She is not a princess who would be unused to these duties.
And re your question about my account: yes, I did. As well as to participate more widely in this community. I did not realise that comments and opinions were sanctioned or unwelcome. So I do not understand why you would ask me that question. I am assuming that your tone was accidental rather than deliberate and you did not set out to be rude and unwelcoming.😊

Ohh well its not about the kind of work that she has been made to. Serving ppl or greeting house staff is not humiliating at all. But but but...what is humiliating is the intention of the person who is making her do such work and how he is treating her in front of fellow human beings. RK's intentions are very clear...he wants to belittle her in front of people that work with him or for him. And no one..neither Madhubala nor the people are unaware of his intentions. So Madhubala is bound to feel insulted.

I dont think its class snob, can u imagine ur husband calling you a servant infront of everyone and ask to serve coffee to all? a WIFE or a BETTERHALF will always be happy to serve but insulting and being happy with insult , can an ordinary girl adjust to situation that easily? come on.. its not her reluctance to serve but her situation and to adjust to a diff environment making her act like that.
In reality how can someone be happy when they are forced upon diff thing continuosly??!! even though we are seeing things for 1 week, its one day's story still in serail :)

I agree with TM. She knows he is going to humiliate her and already she said she won't give that chance to Him. Yesterday episode even i feel she should've put a brave face, even though she is humiliating inside.

I have only one question to the TM..

do u fold hands b4 ur servant or maid I ur house...did u that ever or saw any one doing in reality???..even in middle class houses..(coz I never come across such situation)...

respecting human doesn't means bow b4 them..it's just acknowledge them to b human n not being rude...

in the name of respecting a human no one fold hands b4 anyone other than respectful members of foamy n known relations...

n doing a work which we never intended to do always make us sad...why should we do such work happily even if we know we must do

they r just showing human nature...not showing Mahan serial heroine who do everything with patience n with out frown.

so I don't think there is any big deal...

it happens everywhere

to bhanu-rekha: in my experience the higher on the social scale the family, the more polite the members are to those who serve them. Have you been to Rajasthan? the maharanis will always greet the servitors with so much grace, and a namaskar. in fact, we tell that one is not high born by how badly they treat those that are not their social equals. this test also distinguishes new money from old, btw.

Just adding here that Madhubala could have been in a depressive trance since the marriage (when she was shown to be all numb)... She needed to be shaken awake?

The focus maybe was not specifically on work, because to this, I agree - no job is too big or too small.

When I was watching this scene, I just imagined my bubbly Geet in that situation... Cheer up, get familiar with the sets and the people.. Make friends and make RK feel left out 😆 But guess the story is not going to move forward if Madhubala does not feel tortured/humiliated by RK's antincs.. Also, Madhubala is in constant worry of her father who is in hospital, could be she's lost in other thoughts.. feeling guilty that she's not caring for her dying father but rather is having to serve other people, on RK's command 😡😆

Here are some proofs that Madhubala is not actually a good character

Madhubala's character in the series was portrayed as a character who showed mercy even to her well-intentioned enemy. But when I watched the...
