Talking about his pain and reason for it will only make him re-live that suffering and he does not want it. He might think he has moved on from that pain but the slightest mention of it brings back the memories.

Yes ...his life is stuck somewhere at that point only ...Phew ...Maddy would have tough time breaking him away from that point ...it would be painful for RK but it's required to be done ...else RK would continue making his life hell and Maddy as well
