I feel the show overall was a good offer for Drashti but its not something that would cater to the mass in terms of popularity. The pairing doesn't work for me, i'd love to see someone like Karan Wahi/Tacker in the role of RK as a superstar. Vivian is a great guy but he falls short in terms of acting.

I think they need to cut down on the drama part too and Drashti's styling need improvement asap. Its definitely NOT a flop show but it just needs improvement and I'm sure it'll come around slowly

I agree ...MB is nt a flop show...n it will take time 2 connect...Its nt show which highlights sister love or typical charactrs...If u think ...Vivian is nt perfect as RK...He lacks acting skills n so on ...thr r some sugggestions...Either u quit watching the show...or request DD 2 quit it...so tht she gets perfect show with the perfect lead..😆...n Vivian fans will prefer Sukirti over DD..anyday...😉...I dnt think even DD is perfect...in acting... I think in a way thy complement each other...reason...Vivian lacks in acting skills...whreas DD is gud in over expressing it... 😆... N yes the pairing doesnt work 4 me either...becoz I have my favourites...😉...Bt the pair havent started working 2gether...so how can I judge...Thy had jst few scenes...I will give them a chance...

U may think Iam bashing DD...Bt Iam nt...The way u said u dnt like Vivian...😆...Its jst an answer 2 tht...😆...

I enjoy the show...bt I dnt enjoy coming here...4 these reasons.../either bashing or complaining...

N Vikrant...u made many posts...some of the points ...I do agree...So according 2 u MB is a flop show...becoz it has low trp's...Ok fine...That means Geet n PKYEK were flop shows...Rite...becoz thy had low trps...Acccording 2 me tv shows r for enjoyment...its better 2 enjoy it rather than fretting over its negative points...May b MB is a flop show...bt 4 me ...alll shows of Indian tv r utter crap...excep Balika Vadhu...so shld I make posts in every forum saying this...n yes tht includes some of the unique shows of Indian tv...The problem is nt with the shows...nor with the actors...The real problem lies with the audience who dnt want 2 step outside their confined walls...n with over obsessed fans who treat their favourites as Gods...

Regular posts like this have made many members 2 quit the forum...I think its ntour job or u dnt need 2 put sress on the consequences "How long wil this show lasts"...if it has 2 survive it will or it will not ...ur n othrs job is 2 watch it n enoy it...if u dnt like it...leave it...becoz In India all crap shows continue 4 yrs...whras all gud shows with a difference ends apruptly...

Ok Vikrant...I gt ur point...Its nt exciting...Bt if thy show everything in 1 go...wht will they show later...Only shows which run for 3-4 yrs r termed as successful shows...as thy have succeeded in irritating audience...I agree on the melodrama part...becoz nt something new...N last v had overdose of tht...😆...other thn tht...Its exciting...show...

So here I go again and as usual with proofs and facts,I was going through this update from India Forum

What do you have to conclude from TRP 2 for a show which is a comeback show of the two most loved stars and one of them being the dream girl Drashti Dhami.

Forget comparing the TRP's with other shows...Madhubala is not even living upto the expectations makers had with it and only an insider can confirm there is a big big disappointmentment.

I dont think colors will entertain a show which is giving them a trp of 2 at 8.30 pm slot which is a prime slot and loose upon chance of encashing with a better show which can compete others in this slot.

Madhubala has failed to compete it is now very clear...

Lets see what colors does...either madhubala will be chopped or the timing of the show will be changed...

I could not believe how blindly fans can ignore the pitfalls and drawbacks in a show which has their fav star and just becoz they dont want to highlight these drawbacks out of fear it might be considered criticism they opt ignoring and praising and supporting these pitfalls and drawbacks which in no ways helps the makers get true feedback and this is what has happened with Drashti's previous show and is now happening with her new show "Madhubala".

The moment first week of Madhubala passed by and the manner in which the story was drafted and presented I had this inner feeling that the show will be a big time flop comeback for Drashti Dhami.

"Drashti Dhami" my favourite super star,as days passed by I felt she was lost somewhere in between the junk of supporting cast and her chemistry will not be liked with Vivian.

I was bashed for my three articles:

The idea behind these articles was never criticising but to highlight and inform the makers that something is wrong and the show is not catchy at all and with time it will go down.

A show which is hardly few days old should be very popular considering the hype Madhubala got but the TRP's potray a different story, TRP of 2 as compared to TRP's of other popular and old shows is pathetic.

It is an eye opener for the blind fan followers to stop praising something stupid and highlight the drawbacks and speak up against something which is not justifying the talent of your fav star.

For me Madhubala right from day 6 of its launch was never going to justify the talent Drashti has and the charisma she carries and a show with Drashti and Vivian in it after their super succesfull previous shows and a TRP of 2 on a channel like colours and the time slot that of 8.30 proves.

"Madhubala"is a wrong decision by DD"

That is why

"Drashti"s ranking falling post Madhubala launch"

And raises doubts and questions over will

"Madhubala stay for long on television"

I hope now my fellow fans will look at stats presented by India forum and agree to what I said earlier and will try and give feedback which will help "madhubala" improve in future and justify the talent of Drashti Dhami and Vivian DeSena.

All I want to convey is being a fan and supporting is natural but ignoring pitfalls and drawbacks is unfair with your fav star who relies on her fans feedback to understand if she is going right and if her work is appealing.

We as fans have higher expectation from Drashti and the show is not giving her the platform to reach those expectations and she should be informed about this.

I am just doing that and I am satisfied if even one joins me and understands what I am trying to do and what my motives are.

I like Madhubala for some reasons first one being DD a part of it and others are realistic yet dramatic characters! About VD and DD's roles and their acting,I will wait for 1 or 2 months atleast. DD has been good so far and VD is good enough to grab eyeballs.
So for me Madhubala is very good, sometimes I like it and sometimes I love it!!!
And TRPs:
it opened with 2.8 TRPs!! That was awesome!
But then it fell to 2.1.
According to me reasons are:
1. Poor camerawork. It has improved now I think:).
2. RK's entry was late and less promoted.
3. Mukund-Madhu track cud have been better and less stretched.
4. Dramatic turns are turned into simple events. Atleast it seems like it. Like when Madhu's dance. She danced so well and focus was onTrishna storywise atleast! Atleast they cud show viewers Madhu's dance as one of qualities of being an actor. Just a whisper by Roma!

I may sound silly but when RK got arrested or Mukund got hit by the car or Trishna hating Madhu, it looked so simple..like in real life without those sounds :D :D.

Somewhere I feel it is not a general audience show. It is for those who wish to see something unique movie types!

I am waiting for RK-Madhu track and that will surely grab TRPs.
Waise 2.1 is not bad.

Abt DD doing this show, it is upto her to decide which show she should take up or not! So far it seems a good decision :).

All in all have some patience!! It has potential to grab TRPs!! And it is NOT a flop show! Would you call a 2.1 TRP show a flop show??? A big no! For me flop shows are Dhoondh legi Manzil hamein or Shubh Vivah and some others.

Wait for it to complete atleast 100 episodes to analyze how it is overall and how will it do in future.
