25 lakhs is a hell of a lot of amount especially when it ensures that your parents will lead a comfortable retirement and ur sister will have a good married life.

But is it worth selling your self for??

Should mukund have taken the money or was he right in dramatically tearing off the cheque??

What is wrong in wanting the good things in life? Especially when you have roughed it out all ur life. Accepting the money would have been a win win option for all. If this is dragged to the court it is obvious that the opposite party is more influential and can drag the matter in court for tooo long which would only mean making matters worse for mukund and his family.

This plot may have been a nice way to bring out the heroine's character, to show how she doesn't give a damn when it comes to giving someone justice. But my practical nature forces me to think that taking the money would have been the better option anyway than to have dragged this out.
