OK, lol, I guess it is important for her, because she is way too much humane and honest? She saw the car no. and saw that the man driving the car was drunk, so she wanted to give the witness insaaf but yes, the witness' family is full of creeps. They are just using her and she should realise that.

Regarding the Salman case, well, I read in HT city just the day before yesterday that he had once thrashed down three sleeping men while he was drunk and one of them died also, but he wasn't punished.
