It's only a promo, so many proper details would be missing intentionally... It could be that Cherry found out about the problems between Parmeet and Jyoti and would be taking advantage of the situation for her benefits, pretending to be a well-wisher... Or she might have found out about Parmeet's GF in Canada and might have told him that she knows her...

Or it could be that Parmeet found out something about Cherry and might be trying to find the truth or more info and he would be pretending to be on her side...
