I never approached the situation as Durga vs. Cherry. Cherry to me is a Durga-in-training. I'm no fan of Soni--she is so shockingly stupid that it bewilders me. She lacks savvy and practicalness--she just can't pick up the clues around her with Durga, Cherry, Veer, etc. Women like her always find an abuser, be it Mummyji or a husband or lover. They have no smarts or voice.
Durga is horrid. How could a mother hate someone so much as to ruin the life of her "beloved" sons? Soni was poor, so the hell what? She loves her son, lives with and cares for her family. Puts up with a lot of crap, and never believing in herself. Is her poorer background that much more important than these other things?
For some reason, I just cannot like Cherry anymore. Zilch. Yes, she does not know the truth, yes she has been denied love and has been used. She should have her revenge. But her actions will hurt so many people beyond Soni. I don't think Cherry gives a crap about Jeet or at least it's not love. Her focus is on Soni--the same Soni that is dedicated to Veer. It should make you scratch you head, na? So when we talk about the bigger evil, I think both are off the charts when it comes to evil. They are evil for different reasons, but the scary part is how much they enjoy it.

gp00....i too dont like cherry ever since she endangered baby simran . that kinda thing has no justification in the world , u know . I do hope she is pulled up real bad for that crime.....its not even a mistake .....its a crime.
but she is the only one who can stand upto Durga . Others r useless . Khurana will give one slap and act disgusted , which will suit thick skinned Durga fine . Veer and Jeet , after lot of emotional talk will at the most walk away from her only to return to the same house under the pressure of family values . THe goofy idiot Soni will act like a saint and forgive Durga in an instant .....she is so goofy that she will weep and fall at Durgas feet and instead tell her ki please dont shame me by asking for my forgiveness . So u see , Durga will virtually go scot free .
Her crimes r terrible ....she shudnt . So i welcome the idea of her getting good from Cherry .....and she did spoil Cherrys life , you know . She played around with people's lives....she simply must have a punishment. Where Cherry went wrong was she was educated enough to walk away from this marraige .....she didnt like a village girl....too bad ! So ok if she has remained let her at least give Durga hell....itll be a treat after Sonis sobbing .

Man you hit the nails on all the heads with this 1!! All the secrets she's kept, all the threats she's made & all the lies she's told have got to be exposed 1 away or another!! All the issues & drama start from her & her alone. Everytime you turn around there's a problem that stems straight from the mind of that twisted mad woman. Every single rotten thing that has gone on with all 3 families she has had her hands in it.

Cherry's misbehavior are Durga's fault too. Cherry is going to have to pay for what she's done but she a victum of Durga's ignorant games too & I hope Cherry will repent of her actions & become the Cherry we 1st knew & LOVED. From keeping Cherry's whereabout a secret from Veer who was looking for her since she left India to bringing her to marry Jeet- you tell me HOW SICK & TWISTED IS THIS WOMAN?!!
