starts with Shabd's Dai-Ma (DM) welcoming Mahi and Shabd into the house...doing aarti and all...(dai maa is the one who played bebe in jassi jaisi koi nahin)...she tells mahi that she raised shabd..(shabd has this cute expression on his face)..kitne armaan the iski shaadi ke...lekin kise pata tha...khair jaisa bhi hai bohat achcha hai...iss ghar mein nayi bahu aayi hai...is se zaada khushi ki baat aur kya ho sakti hai...mahi is smiling...DM passes the thali to the servant and does this ritual which i don't know about 😳....mahi is then sad and thinks about her vidai...with her throwing the rice back and moni getting them in her pallu....shabd says come on DM..is this all important?? (he does call her DM...)...DM asks him to shut up and stay standing...and adds that this is very important...she tells mahi that him and his dad are always in a hurry...mahi smiles...
DM says now that you are here...do take care of him...mahi, shabd and DM all are smiling...(million $$ wali smile)...DM does the tikka, throws the flowers on them...and does the aarti (SM both are still smiling...shabd looks like he is bored but still is smiling)...after the aarti DM puts down the matki full of rice on the floor...shabd says come on DM..all this happens in Hindi movies...DM says no..in films they only show what happens in real life...and asks mahi to kick the matki (nicely 😛) with her right foot....she does so...DM then puts down the thali with red coloured water (i'm not too sure as to what that is)...and says beta ab is mein paer rakh kar andar aa jao...(ufff why are they smiling so much??...i thought mahi would be like all sad...o well..it maybe is different than kekta's shows)...
mahi enters her new house...as they are walking mahi's expression changes again to a sad one...keeps thinking about something....DM says to mahi that now you are related to this house...mahi is SHY 😲😲...and is also smiling again...
DM takes them to the living area where the servants are lined up...holding plates covered with red/pink cloth...DM asks mahi to just place her hand on the plates...so that afterwards they can be distributed among the poor people...and when mahi is still confuzzled...DM says yeh tum dono ki nazar utarne ke liye hai...mahi looks over at shabd who, isharo isharo mein asks her to do so...mahi does so (mahi abhi se hii 😲)....o wait...both SM have to put their hands on the plates...both are doing that...and are smiling looking at each other...after they are done..DM takes them to the pooja room and tells mahi that shabd's mother left them long back...but wherever she is i am sure she must be really happy seeing shabd as a dulha...and asks them both to get her blessings...both do so..then mahi looks at the photo and is shocked 😲..it was durga's pic...mahi looks over at DM who explains to her that durga and gauri were twins...both looked exactly the same...but were very different in nature...SM both with folded hands again take her blessings...
here at durga's house...durga is praying to lord ganesha 😲😲...jyoti comes and asks her what is going on?...durga tells jyoti that the god is upset with me...main unhe manane ki koshish kar rahi hoon...the complete opposite of what i was hoping for happened...no one can remove the malhotras from their house now...all their problems are solved..as mahi got married into such a big house...jyoti says that sometimes in these small wins...lies a big loss...tells her mom that doesn't matter if she got married into that house...you know what that house is like...don't you know sareen uncle and his family...don't you know shabd??...now watch what will happen to mahi...durga is in thoughts and is happy...jyoti tells her to be happy...durga tells jyoti you have become so smart...after all beti kiski hai...and starts with her pooja again..
back to mahi-DM: mahi says it's such a big house...there must be many rooms in here...DM says yes...and adds all here call me dai maa...and shabd calls me DM ..dai maa's short form...both laugh...mahi says i will call you maa...as you took care of shabd since his childhood...took care of the house and did all that a mother does...she asks DM if she can call her maa...DM says yes you can...i haven't seen your parents but they must be really great ...who have a daughter like you...upon hearing this mahi gets tears in her eyes and says my parents are like my God...DM and mahi hug..scene changes to the malhotras' house...brij remembering mahi...so is moni...and then remembers her vidaai...soni too (who is lying in moni's lap) is remebering mahi..brij says one by one all will go...rajji left mahi too left..soni will leave too...in the end it will be only us two left..at this soni says i don't want to get married..and adds that god has made this weird niyam...that parents raise the girls and someone else takes them...brij says this is the way it is...moni says it gives parents happiness seeing that their kids are happy in their house...and if they take out some time they feel happy...without daughters the house feels so empty...
mahi is sitting in her room (oops her and shabd's 😉)..dressed up really nicely in pink and blue dress...looking at her mehndi...DM says maayke mein lagi mehndi ka rang sasural mein aa kar hi nikharta hai...mahi gets up hearing this...DM asks her if she is missing her maayka..mahi says yes..DM says it will take a few days to manage...mahi questions her who else lives in this house...DM says shabd, his dad, servants...and soon you will meet your TJ aunty...mahi says TJ aunty?...DM says yes shabd's bua...her name is tejinder but she prefers TJ...mahi asks DM who else lives here...shabd's sis or bro?..at this DM's expressions change...she doesn't know what to say..she says i have kept milk and all here...when shabd comes give it to him...mahi asks DM to answer her question...says in such a big house there isn't anyone else?...DM asks mahi to sit down and says i will go look for shabd...mahi is left thinking why DM left like that...just then she hears a voice saying take it away..i said i don't want this...in a rude voice that is...it's DM holding a plate..the voice again repeats i don't want this..i said it once..take i away...mahi sees this and is shocked...voice yells at DM asking her to leave..
(it sounds like a girl 🤔)....DM says if you don't like that sweet have this one...the rude person (let's call it this right now) throws the plate down...DM mahi are shocked...the person is shown (not the face though)...she is wearing a white sari (with a bit of light pink)...DM says today your brother shabd got married...the lady says so what?..how does that matter to me?...yells at DM asking her to leave...and shuts the door...DM asks the servants to clean up the mess...seeing DM coming in her direction mahi hides...
mahi goes inside her room...later is shown sitting on the bed with ghunghat on...not covering the face though..just forehead....shabd comes in singing la la la 😆...and after looking at the room says wow!..this is what's called a suhaag raat ka room....this is beautiful...looks at mahi...mooh khula ka khula hi reh gaya..he was stunned! he sees the milk, etc on the side and says this all must be DM's idea...he says till now i didn't say anything thinking that she took care of us for so many years...she has the right to do so...but now it's all not needed...since there is no one here...it's only you and me...he asks mahi to take off the ghunghat and just relax and calm down...since it's their special night....says that milk and all is like an old thing...we will start our life with sharab...and says cheers to our happy married life...mahi isn't liking all this
shabd opens up the champagne (how do you spell that? 😳) bottle...and pours it in two glasses...he then offers a glass to mahi......shabd drinks the champagne from his glass...mahi sees this and is 🤢😡..all at once....it ends on mahi..
