The older sister of Veer asks her mom Durga to Call the Malhotras for the fixing of ceremony.But looking at Durga's displeasure her husband DD mockingly says that why should they call.They are the boy's side.Its the girl's side who should be making the first move.Hearing this Durga snatches the phone from her daughter and call the Malhotra house.
Decoration is going on in the Malhotra house.Brij comes down and asks the decorater Mishra to do the decorations properly.He asks where is Bamm and is told that he might be outside.Bamm is having all sorts of garlands on his neck and is dancing and jumping.Brij tells him why is he going out,he doesnt have to decorate their neighbours house but their own house.Bamm tells him he is decorating the outside.Mohini comes in and tells him that Durga called and she wants the ceremony tobe held in City Centre Hall which is very costly.And they have already made so many arrangement in the house.It has cost so much.Looking at Mohini's sad face Brij tells her not to worry,he will take care of everything.He tells her that her smile keeps him going.
They go to the girls bedroom where Soni and Mahi are standing ready.Soni asks them if they are looking fine.Brij asks Soni to come and stand on the bed.Moni and Mahi are thinking as to what he is doing.He then tells her to sit with her legs folded.Then he says she looks good.Later he tells Mahi to come on the bed.Mahi cant walk properly.He says the dress is too tight they should loosen it.Moni tells him that she especially got it stitched for hte occasion and its ok.Then Rajji comes in and with her green dress and asks if thats what she has to wear?Moni tells her yes and Rajji says its too heavy.Moni tells her its her special day so she has to wear that.Brij asks Rajji to get him Kehwa.Moni tells him she is getting engaged then why is he asking her to work.He says its because she is here for few days;later he wont have a chance to drink Kehwa made by Rajji.
Soni,Dimpy,Brij are waiting for the Khuranas to come.Nani-maasi asks them why are they are looking disappointed.Brij tells her its because the Khuranas wanted everyone to wear yellow.Soni tells what kindof a colour is yellow;its not Basant Panchmi.Brij tells her nowadays its a fashion of scheme.Soni tells him its not schene its colour-theme.The khurasnas eneter.
Soni does Veer's aarti and applies tilak on his forehead.Then she turns to Jeet.Jeets not ready for it.Soni teklls him he will have to apply.New acquaintence,New realtions.Jeet remembers the phone conversation with our Chattter-Box Mahi.He thinks Soni is the girl who called him.
They are all ushered inside.The Khurana family is sitting together and given drinks.Durga makes a face,DD looks at her.Soni comes and asks Veer to come with her and requests Jeet to join them to help his brother.Durga says since her son is getting married its like he no more belongs to her.
Here,Rajji and Mahi are sitting.Soni is doing all the talking and Jeet keeps looking at her.Then there is some song and dance.
Its time for Chunni ceremony.Rajji is being brought to the stage.Durga lloks at Rajji and then at Mahi.When Rajji is sitting with Veer for ceremony,Durga stops them.She says Rajji is not the girl for whom she got ready for marriage.Its Mahi she agreed for.Durga had this confusion when she came to Malhotra house for the first time.DD asks Veer if Rajji is the girl he likes and proposed,Veer says yes.DD says then its no problem and continue the ceremony.When Veer and Rajji come for durga';s blessing,she blesses only Veer.Everyone is shocked.
