ipshita cries. mahi says maybe ipshita is sick. moni checks and says ipshita seems to have a fever. mahi asks moni if her leg stil hurts. moni says yes. mahi asks if darji will forgive tina. moni says no. mahi says they should leave now before it gets dark and before it rains. moni tells them to stay. mahi thinks she has work tomorrow and cant take a day off. mahi says they have to go before it rains. moni walks them to the door and its windy. moni says to stay. mahi says no. soni says they can wait for shabd. mahi says no. mahi says guests will come. soni says she wil go too. mahi says no its ok she will go with ishana. mahi leaves with ishana. moni tels soni she is scared. soni says nothing will happen to mahi.
mahi is in taxi and tells the driver to be careful. it is raining. ishana is crying.
sukhi goes to tina and touches her shoulder and asks her if she is ok, she is like a real punjabi today. tina says she failed. sukhi says tina fulfilled her promise, she is close. tina says how did she fulfill that promise, darji will never accept her or forgive her dad. sukhi says darji has to forgive her and accept her, some things can be controlled, some things have no control or logic, darji took a decision with his mind, he will take it with his heart.
mahi's taxi breaks down. mahi thinks it will be hard to get another taxi in this rain. mahi calls shabd and says she left moni's place and her taxi broke down on the highway. shabd asks if ishana is ok and he will be there. taxi driver says they need a mechanic, he will look for another car for her.
shabd drives in the rain. the road is blocked. a man tells him to take another road. shabd walks in the rain.
mahi tries to call shabd and opens her window. ishana cries. mahi drops her phonje out the window. mahi picks it up. adi is driving by and sees mahi and offers her a ride. mahi says shabd is coming. adi says he cant leave her here alone, the roads are bad and shabd might be late. mahi takes ishana. they go with adi under his umbrella to his car. shabd sees mahi and ishana going inside adi's car. by the time shabd goes to the car, the car leaves.
mahi tells adi her phone fell in the rain and isnt working. adi gives his phone to mahi. mahi calls but there is no network.
tayji lights a candle. mahi and ishana come with adi. tayji says shabd went out to find her. mahi says this is her boss. mahi gives ishana to tayji. tayji leaves with ishana. soni calls and says they were so worried, moni kept asking about ishan, come roads closed. mahi says her taxi broke down, she knew someone who gave her a lift. they hang up. shabd comes. mahi says she was trying to call him and soni called, adi gave her a ride. shabd says he knows. adi says they meet again on the same day. shabd says they met in the bank, he was mortgaging the house. shabd says thanks for bringing mahi and ishana home, he was about to reach there if they waited. adi says he didnt want to leave mahi and ishana alone. shabd offers adi a drink. adi leaves. mahi says sorry. shabd says sorry for not reaching on time, their loan got passed at the bank, if she didnt work, he wouldnt have mortgaged the house. he thanks her. shabd pours himself a drink. shabd says hes wet and wants to feel warm. shabd drinks.
