I agree - only in these shows do the families agree with, believe or tolerate all the evil people, but are quick to snap at, kick out, or speak up against a good person when they do something remotely brave for good reasons... I hope it's not like that in real life. Although from my experience that is sometimes the case - the person with the bigger mouth usually gets what he or she wants...
