What a sensible woman would do in such situation?

Now after 10 years of living in another country I have so to say a good exposure of both Indian and western culture. In West, like East, love is the most important in one's life. Being a product of Indian culture, I have seen on an average women sacrificing and more so than their husbands to have a non complicated happy peaceful marriage. Being in love one can go to any extent to keep their love from any harm. This is a universal phenomenon irrespective of East or West. Now, the point is do we go to the extent of subjecting ourselves to abnoxious behaviour , endure abuse and more so go to the extent of sleeping with somebody just because our love's life has been threatened. With our country sliding up on the educational and financial scale, do you think it is okay for Maahi to even digest Angad's intentions forget about going to the hotel room? Fiction is good if it teaches us something and better if the message is shown in a positive way. I would rather see Maahi stand up and show her anger and disgust or try some smarter moves of collecting evidence rather than feeling miserable, crying out and begging people to believe her. Look at Cherry's smartness even though it is for an evil cause. Don't take me wrong I am not appreciating what Cherry is doing inthis story. So, please don't wait for whether Maahi would go to the hotel or not , rather wait for something more clever and ready to fight with evil behaviour from our soap queens.

I would ask all of us to read Delimar Vera of Pennsylvania story. Nobody believed the mother that her daughter was kidnapped and not perished in the house fire. The husband left telling her that she was crazy, the friends did not believe her. She kept the faith and struggled hard and found her daughter after 6 years . She was kidnapped when she was 10 days old. This mother is latin American, not a professional, had a cleaning job somewhere. She met the senator and the police and got the DNA tested. This is very different from our Maahi's situation but the point is to act smart, not to act foolish --that oh I love Shabd so I would go to any extent of bearing for the sake of his love and life.

she tried to tell the truth to her husband and if she thinks that he doesn't believe her then she has to move on and take more intense action to fight the scumbag....

to me best option for mahi is to secretly approach cops or detectives....take them into confidence....have everything written down as proof and then under their supervision plan to meet angad....cops can easily get the cameras fitted into the hotel room before angad arrives and make other security arrangements for mahi's safety in case angad becomes too aggressive....this way everything will be legal and recorded and angad's evil truth will be out in public....

I agree. They should send some positive and useful messages thru these shows for women - that they should think and act smart instead of sitting and crying and end up diong dumb things which will only destroy your life and make a mess out of everything!! So bad, that with all these advanced media exposure available for the society, they are trying to brainwash Indian women to live like idiots!!
